Finished Otorimonogatari, quite good, too bad it left on an unfinished note. Yandere Nadeko was fun.

I am, though this book was really about how Nadeko is cute. Not necessarily in a good way. In the end though I just feel like that for a book that's supposed to be about Nadeko, it focused on the negative aspects of her. The spotlight was just robbed by Gahara-san at the last second, and the most interesting part was Tsukihi talking to Nadeko and analyzing her, so really that was mostly Tsukihi being awesome.
What does Nadeko do? Act cute, snap, go yandere.
In a sense that was almost as disappointing as the Hachikuji vol that turned out to be about Shinobu. This vol turned into a hype vol for the final book of the series.

Well you know Senjougahara is the main character here =P

On July 08 2011 02:09 Blasterion wrote: Well you know Senjougahara is the main character here =P She has the best of positions and a force of personality to make her feel like the main character. Even when she appears only in about 60% of the books, and in some of them only in passing or in reference to some of her lines. In the 3 (4) books where she had a prominent role, the performance was so impressive as to just cement that position.
That is not to say having like 10 lines at the last 5 pages of the book should let her take all the spotlight.
It wasn't really a problem, it was just slightly disappointing that Nadeko had to turn out that way, as if she was never in contention in anything but cuteness. Even Kanbaru showed more mental fortitude than that.
