He'd be good opponent for Dellinger but Oda didnt want to embress Sanji fans. It'd be pretty embressing for him to fight against Dellinger when Zoro goes toe teo toe with Admiral haha.

And when the hell did Vergo "simply beat the shit" out of Sanji? Did you just make up scenes in that fight or something? Sanji gave Vergo a bloody nose by kicking him in the face, then smashed him into a steel wall, and then blocked a kick from Vergo which cracked Sanji's shin. And despite the cracked shin, Sanji was still able to keep fighting till Vergo ran away.

But if when blocking a rather simple attack cracks your shin it's a bad sign. If that fight goes on I'll give Sanji the credit to stay in and fight through the pain but I give Vergo that fight fairly easily. Of course this is all speculation, depending which side you're on you can interupt the facts given to make an argument. I just don't see Sanji winning that fight if blocking a kick cracks his shin that easily, it just shows Vergo's Haki and attack power is well above Sanji's imho.
