Peacock has a royal form of haki. I think its because logia types are so overpowered that they dont even need haki. Whitebeard didnt seem to need it but Red Hair does and uses it from chapter 1. (yeah i bet oda had this prepared since day 1) Why would you need to punch harder if your fist is instant with the speed of LIGHT or made of LAVA. The lighning guy could use Haki and he was "godlike". Rather the purpose of Haki, as explained like 2 chapters ago, is the only way a normal person can fight with devil fruit users. | ||

My favorite was probably Ennies Lobby. When I first marathoned One Piece, the Anime was just finished with Ennies Lobby, so that was essentially the climax of my marathon. And all the fights at the end were really good, especially Luffy vs Lucci. All the other arcs I enjoyed as well, some more than others. I got kinda bored during the filler in the middle of Alabasta, and some parts in Skypeia seemed to drag on, but I overall enjoyed those. | ||

People were strong before haki and having haki doesn't mean you are automatically strong. I really liked enies lobby because it was just soooo gooooood. | ||

True, however Haki seems to be the prequisite to being awesome for extended periods of time. ;> It seems atleast to me after doing some reading that all the shichibukai where defeated in the new world. Most likely by Haki users. | ||

The man who was equal to Mihawk in the art of swords. And don't give me that "he is only human" crap. With the introduction of Color of the Armament haki, there is no excuse! | ||

Oda's simply using the classic theme of sacrificing yourself for the good of someone else. Shanks couldve dodged the arm-bite, but perhaps his haki let him know that if he did, luffy would be gg no re. In fact, I would argue that this moment of sacrifice shapes luffy and provokes luffy to do a lot of the things he does for people. | ||

YES YES YES!! beating the spring guy is one of MY FAVORITE scenes so far. I watched it like 3 times in the anime. Skypeia is prob the most boring of the arcs but there are some gem scenes in it like when Luffy sings the song about GOATS. Don't worry, getting all hot and emotional over Robin is definitely good. | ||

Not that entertaining to me. zoro being badass was great and the KUMA PARt at the end was good but other parts like Perona scenes werent that entertaining to me. the part where USOPP can't get anymore negative was funny but other than that it was quite mediocre to me. guys Vote on Page 64 for your Favorite ARC!! | ||

Yeah you will definitely find it harder to appreciate the arc if you did not read the manga. the anime always drags out the plot a lot-sometimes well, sometimes crappy. case and point-- enies lobby[good], thriller bark[bad] guys Vote on Page 64 for your Favorite ARC!! edit: I love the ONE PIECE Skits.
