I think we were all expecting kind of an epic chapter but in retrospect I'm glad that Oda is taking his time and doing this right with a set-up chapter instead of rushing the crews reunion because of the 600th chapter milestone. Looking back at the other chapters that are multiples of 100, they aren't all that special. 500 is Rayleigh's introduction, 400 is setup for the strawhats fighting CP9, and 300 is resolution to Skypiea so nothing extreme. | ||

Yeah the past few weeks I've been happy to see manga so early. It used to always be thursday for it and now that feels like torture  Then again I read Berserk and HxH. Chopper stopped his silly charge around the island a lot faster than I expected. Luffy is also exactly where I guessed he would end up... well, after reading the spoiler about fake Zoro and Sanji. The real Zoro and Sanji are same as always, threatening to kill each other at the drop of a hat. And of course the ship is indeed getting prepared for a hasty departure, if what Raleigh said about Grove 42 was any indication. Good stuff all in all. | ||
