There has to be some limit to that barrier, as oda has showed us this limit is pretty huge (ate the 2-page super punch from some....new random character admittedly) so he has effectively developed a 'power level' for this new character. And it seems he is working for someone big! And hell yeah i love these 'secret' plot!! Gogo toy soldier!! | ||

No dude.. what i'm saying is that a barrier is shit when you face good haki user! Since a haki punch won't be stopped with a barrier of devil powers! He can have haki and be very strong but unless he can make haki infused barriers, his power is not that usefull against haki users! | ||

Maybe the defensive part of the barrier will be useful, but as seen already when he uses the bari-bari fruit offensively it is still really powerful. | ||

He seems to be the type of person that would only work for himself, kind of like Crocodile. Of course, that doesn't mean anything at all, Bart COULD be working for someone. But who? And what makes you say that? I don't think just Haki will beat the barrier, I think you need Haki and strength as well. That would sort of make sense, but honestly, Bellamy and the Fishman can't use Haki? Or perhaps they simply weren't aware of the barrier so they didn't use it? Bart seems an interesting character but I don't particularly care about him. Would rather look forward to the three way Lucy/Chinjao/Cavendish fight. | ||

Given his personality, strength and what little we can guess, I'd wager on the side of "with" rather than "for". I mean, it could be someone big given Bartolomeo himself appears quite dangerous. He could be working directly with a Shichibukai, Supernova or Yonkou. My two bets are: - A wildcard of Doflamingo. - Working with Blackbeard. Will probably nothing of the above. Guessing Oda's plot is pretty difficult haha. | ||

Haki doesnt completely nullify devil fruits it only prevents logias from instantly avoiding every attack the abilitis of the devil fruit still works on Haki users | ||
