The one thing that is really strange is how this Oden has both swords. Zoro is currently using one of those swords. The other one is stashed somewhere, right? That's a big part of what makes this feel like a clear rouse. Someone like Devon might not know Zoro has Enma yet, right? But I think Kanjuro knew about Zoro getting Enma, so it doesn't make sense Kanjuro would draw Oden with the sword. Bon Clay is 32 years old. It is possible that he actually did have some kind of contact with Oden early in his life and we just have had no idea. According to wiki, Bon Clay is 32 years old and ate the devil fruit at age 12. So that's exactly 20 years ago. Suspicious. Its also important to note that this Oden basically said a bunch of really easy things to say. Haven't seen you for a long time and you look beat up. That's easy. Though I am still not dismissing the idea this is straight up Oden. Since Momonosuke was never taught how to read the ponyglyphs, Robin is the only one who knows right now, right? For some reason I had it in my mind that Oden had some type of passed down knowledge that not even Robin had. Am I forgetting something? Or was it just how to read the ponyglyphs? For some reason I remember thinking "Wait, if Oden died before he could pass ____ information on to Momo, that must mean he gets revived at some point, otherwise that would be crucial information that is lost". I honestly feel like there is a 20-30% chance its actually Oden. | ||

Kanjuro could draw Oden to lead them in a trap (or help them and get his redemption arc) Onimaru is known to be able to transform into a human (Gyukimaru). Kitsune are said to be able to shapeshift in any human form, so it's possible he could also transform into Oden and help them. I think it's a strong possibility with what could have been Hiyori (or Toki) healing them earlier Oden wrote a journal which Yamato has now and shown it to Momo, any information could be in there | ||

And this is 100% not the real Oden. Oda killed him off and he did the D smile, indicating that he's dead. Unless Toki decided to do some time fuckery. However, as far as we know, she can only go into the future, not the past, so she can't pluck Oden out of the past and then send him back. For a time travel fruit, her abilities are quite linear. | ||

The power of this fruit is similar to Bentham's Mane Mane no Mi and Charlotte Brûlée's Mira Mira no Mi, as they all allow the user to impersonate other people. Unlike the former, however, this fruit's power allows the user to even transform their clothes, and unlike the latter, the transformation is not a mirror image. Does this mean her devil fruit is strictly better than bon-chan's? Oh never mind, this is saying she doesn't copy the person's strengths or physical non-fruit abilities. On this topic, is Marco's devil fruit strictly better than Ace/Sabo's? | ||

Marcos fruit is probably not strictly better. As you see in Ace's story and sorta mentioned by Pekoms, logias just let you curbstomp the 1st half of the grand line. Tora-tora: Phoenix has never shown that level of offensive power. Its almost strictly a defensive fruit and Marco's huge stamina is probably also needed to fuel it. | ||
