I don't feel Luffy will survive this manga because he gets some sort of disease for the price of living large. Sure hope that doesn't happen, it feels dumb for this generation to follow Roger in lockstep.

There was Magellen's poisoning and I can't remember what was the other. Oda been hinting prety strongly that once Luffy has found One Piece and becomes the pirate king he dies soon afterwards with a smile. Then again Jinbe is a walking death flag and he hasn't died yet. His gear abilities shorten his lifespan

Well i guess this makes sense. Luffy's goal is absolute freedm to explore ALL THE SEAS. Once he finds one piece and beats WG/Yonkos he will already have explored all the seas.

There's still all of outer space to explore and boldly go where no pirate has gone before! Kinda makes me hope either one of the ancient weapons or the One Piece will be a spaceship.

I am assuming at least the moon ends up coming into play. My theory is that the reason Roger and others all laughed when they found the One Piece is that it shows their entire frame of reference is a small dot on a giant canvas of many worlds. When they realize the grand line is peanut compared to what is out there, the entire journey of "becoming the best" feels like a pointless fantasy.

This fight would probably be much easier if they just went after BM, who seems much more dangerous than anything Kaido's throwing around atm and is also likely less tanky. But I guess it's entirely in character that common sense isn't their forte and Kaido seems to try to stand in front of BM a lot. Also BM and Kaido probably have more experience fighting together than their opponents, so it makes sense that they fight smarter.

He probably isn't doing that here because of the pretty not-so-team-work-y nature of all of the combatants here, or for general plot/manga convenience reasons lol

What stops him from removing parts of the body like the brain and destroying it instantly? Also Zoro missing with his sword. Somehow. he can only transfer objects but not within unless he actually touches it. He could theoretically drop a rock in the ocean and switch that with kaido/big mom => game over lol
