They're literally fillers/fodders to Kaido. I don't even care for their dedication to Oden. I didn't feel a thing. I felt more emotion for that random soldier running towards his death in AoT. Just move aside and let Luffy handle it. I really hope Oda focuses on our protagonists and not add shit/usless characters lol | ||

I think if there was an intention to not have to show every last fight to it's conclusion this has been a very good way to do so. | ||

Maybe assist luffy and supernovas rather than them going solo on kaido. During the battle, we could have seen actual sacrifices and actually damaging Kaido. Oda had to take that shonen way. Only protagonists fight main villans and BEAT them! | ||

Oda can't kill of characters which leads to EVERY situation that our strawhats have no weight/threat. | ||

Oda probably offscreened the scabbard because he want them to live. Doesn't make it any less disappointing considering the 300 chapters and 5 years we had of them. They deserve better. But then again this is a manga where having your head chopped off or stabbed in the heart through the body or skull cracked in half or missing half your head or being next to an explosive bomb doesn't kill you. Heck, actually dying doesn't kill you if Brook is anything to go by. In One Piece, people don't die if they are killed. | ||
