This is not regular Shonen style at all. DBZ/Naruto/Bleach/(insert random shonen here) would all have had these scenes with the difference that the big boss would have laughed and shrugged off these attacks. I actually enjoy this change for once. It also shows that these samurai are not just fillers - they are really strong | ||

I wouldnt complain about more Marco content (Marco is the best) but at the same time Samurai vs. Kaido has a lot of emotional weight involved that I'm really excited to see play out for a bit | ||

Feels a bit off. Couple of chapters ago Marco and Perospero arrived at the Onigashima castle together. Also Big Mom got sent out of the castle by Robin and Jinbe. They must have met on the way (back) in. | ||

Oh well, I guess the red scabbards are fucked now. And maybe Chopper can find a way to cure/counter this plague Queen is using, assuming it's an actual plague? Stumbled upon a meme on reddit today and got reminded about the fact that his goal is to "cure every disease". Seems pretty obvious, but hey this manga has kept going for ages! | ||

but really, she might legit travel with them and do the whole Oden with Whitebeard and Roger thing. And I just want to put this out there in case it does happen, however deeply unlikely, but I want to call that Kaido's obsession with death is related to Roger. | ||
