Until this chapter the depth and conflicts of Nami's relationship w/ Zeus and Zeus' tensions never really hit me. Wow that's quite heavy side-story even if it only ever appears in such short overdriven exaggareted panels | ||

Like I get that he doesn't have any positive relation to the strawhats, but if he sees an opportunity to severely weaken or take down a Yonkou and possibly restore the old country's ruler that should be ample reason for him, right? | ||

I don't know of King being a double agent for the marines, could be some theory out there. However, I do think EVERY member of Kaido's crew has no loyalty. They are all bound to him by his strength and intimidation. A crack in Kaido's invulnerability could lead to ALL the beast pirates betraying him. Look at how Kaido tried to get Luffy, Kid, Ashura Doji, Hyogoro, and more to his side. Look at what happened with the Ninjas and Samurai "loyal" to Orochi after Kaido beheaded him. This is how Kaido gains followers. It ain't loyalty, just fear. I think it goes all the way up to King, Queen, and Jack and I think they'll all betray when the time is right. | ||

King and Kaido had excellent synergy when they beheaded Orochi together. I want them to be childhood friends. | ||
