It says he was defeated and captured multiple times but nobody could kill him and he ultimately won out because of that. | ||

Luffy straight up told fujitora he's not ready yet and fujitora was literally about to slaughter everyone with island sized rubbles and that was only 20% of his gravity power as said by fujitora himself. I really want Kizaru to come and stand still kaido more now. It's getting ridiculous this admiral hate. | ||

Yeah, Luffy has challenged an admiral, has shown to capable of holding himself. And then he has challenged against two Yonkous with his Gear fourth, which is his strongest move, and wasnt able to hurt them at all. Then there is an example of Doflamingo, who has openly shown his desire to fight with Fujitora after he deals with Luffy and Law. €: Luffy is close to admiral level, probably 80% of the way there imo - i'd put Katakuri even with the admirals "yes, i know Luffy "beat" Katakuri, but i'm convinced Katakuri is stronger, he kind of let luffy win cuz he foresaw his path to pirate king". Kaido is a completely different beast | ||

Speaking about Kaido though, if he is on a complete different level how many in-between-enemies does oda have to come up with to bridge that gap? Any as of yet unknown names id consider asspulls. We still have Kaido Big Mom Black Beard Admirals + Akainu Gorosei(?) not sure if they are fighters vegapunk + That IM king dude Of those id say Kaido HAS to be the weakest despite all the hype. We still have the fruit awakening to go but any more gears and op will seriously start to degenerate into dragon ball. And if Luffy has to beat the second in commands to power up, as he did with Katakuri, where does that leave Zorro. | ||
