And when Rayleigh left, he spent months fighting the strongest beasts on what appears to be a Monster Hunter island. Also, Luffy is still young and thus has a lot of room to grow. The chances that Enel encountered some kind of guru on the moon or enemies that could actually challenge him are a lot slimmer than in Luffy's situation. And if Enel spent 2 years just lounging around then I can't see him getting any stronger. If he decided to fall back down to Earth with an army and landed in the New World then maybe he could have progressed at Luffy's pace, but that is a pretty big IF. | ||

Though I acknowledge that Jack's bounty could be like Eustace Kid's bounty where its inflated by general murder and mayhem, which definitely does not seem to be Katakuri's style. | ||

However, Jack also had his ass handed to him by Inuarashi and Nekomamushi before the poison stuff happened, so i cant help but believe that he is weaker than Katakuri. I highly doubt that both Inuarashi and Nekomamushi would have land a hit on Katakuri. did i miss something? i thought he was fighting them for days on end before they pulled out the poison, they kept switching out during day/night to rest but Jack was on the front lines for the entire battle | ||
