Bleach/Naruto/One Piece chapters were all equally boring this week so meh. Thank gawd for the Fall Season animes starting up though, should make up for this weeks lack of manga/anime entertainment. | ||

OP is the most rich manga in matters of character and story background...pretty much everything what Oda presents have or will have a meaning somewhere. Just think of those "meh" chapters as a buildup for something bigger. | ||

I agree with you, but right now i ony want to see Luffy shut Hodi's mouth once and for all, the guy's lasting more than lucci, and he doesn't even make for a good villain. | ||

I started with OP watching the anime for the longest time (wasn't until somewhere around the Impel Down arc that I picked up reading the manga too) so I generally enjoy watching it even if I know what's gonna happen. For me the manga is almost like a script. Get a pretty good idea of what happens, but it's not until the anime that it really gets fleshed out (especially some of the action sequences, though OP manga action is usually easier to follow than other mangas). Got some nerdchills last week watching Rayleigh teaching Luffy about Haki, even if it's like... year old news. Speaking of which, my bias wants to believe that Luffy has the more badass teacher than Naruto did, but I never really got into Naruto enough to really compare. The sannin over there have a big deal made about how strong they are... but seemed like others in that universe were able to climb to higher levels of strength. Rayleigh being Roger's first mate is auto-badass, and given that he was able to fend off Kizaru (being that Admirals seem to be the current measuring stick) even though he's well past his prime shows he's still no slouch. Which reminds me, that scene of him vs. Marines when the Straw Hats leave in the anime should be good as well, chances are it may even get extended a little. | ||

Fake Nami kind of sounds a bit like Chopper to me could just be my speakers though. My pupil is off it is recommended that you do not cross this line. Marines- *gasp* I think Ace, Sabo, and Garp's combined training (working together) with Luffy more closely relates to the training sannin and Naruto. And then the eight tails training | ||

Also Chopper was imo one of the most impressive changes after timeskip but he can be as badass as he wants unfortunately whenever Zori's appears he seems to be the mayor of badass town. and robn is so fashionista with those shades :D | ||

Also in the anime the voices from what I recognize remember I'll edit it later Fake Usopp = Franky's VA Fake Luffy = Sanji's VA Fake Name = Chopper's VA and that's as far as I can recall honestly thankfully the anime is at the start of the timeskip (the interesting part) so it'll tide me over until the manga picks up again. Oda keeps raising the bar at this rate I'm worried he's going to burn out of awesome D: | ||

This chapter is just about showcasing how Imba they have become so I don't see the reason to drag this on so slowly....I hope it culminates in a awesome way but idk,I was hyped at the beginning but now I'm just getting bored as like last 3 chapters were like pretty much the same. | ||
