Decken's chance of dying... low. I still think he's the most likely person to join the straw hats of anyone introduced on this island... and the chance of him joining is rather low. He's goofy/crazy enough, and I'm sure some "it was all just a misunderstanding" thing could be thrown out to make Luffy insta-forgive him. Also, incoming Luffy "Why'd you stab him Hodi, aren't you nakama??!!?" outrage speech. | ||

Everything Hodi has done has included killing Shirahoshi's mom in cold blood, wanting to exterminate humans, and exterminate any fishman/mermaid who wanted to live in peace with humans. How exactly do you redeem that? | ||

How exactly do you redeem that? i believe you're getting trolled I also think that it will come down to either jinbei joining or squat, and i'm leaning towards the latter as i see this arc more of a "post 3 year gap while filling in racial issues that have been hinted at since arlong arc" kind of thing. More than anything I'm interested in seeing what role Noah has to play in it because it seems that it will have the most impact on the story so far. | ||

Remember the prophecy that Luffy was going to destroy Fishman island. I bet in the next few chapters Luffy's gonna destroy the bubble by accident, everyone gets on the ship and the kraken pulls it to the surface. So Luffy saves the day by defeating Hody and making the queen's wish come true at the same time. All guesswork of course but I got a pretty good feeling about it. | ||

We did know who they were, they were major characters during hachi's undersea adventures cover story. A better example of something like that would be that piece of promotional art that shows boa before she was even mentioned in the story. also I am 99.99999% certain that nobody is going to be joining the strawhats this arc. | ||
