A very good ending to this arc. The significance of this event is not to be underestimated. This is the beginning of the end here. I got the same feeling here as I did during the barano island mini arc. This alliance is the prelude to the next big war. One piece is ending soon. I've got some mixed emotions about that. So for now I'll sit back and enjoy the ride. | ||

there's so much mysteries we've still it iron out, and it'll take a long time to explain. what of the people from the moon? where are devil fruits from? Just from a world point of view there's a lot of unexplained things of the OP world, that alone will take a long time to resolve, along with all the fighting and the interactions of people. It's gonna be a long oen for sure. | ||

The way he's taking his time to tell such indepth storywriting, like the history of the gladiator aka Soldier-san aka DA GLADIATOR WARRIOR. There would be no change in story impact as it would be for a good 'father' figure being killed, so to say, by Doflamingo. You see where I am coming from? He is really trying to put as much detail as a fan would be happy with. Now in hindsight we appriciate all the backstory of these 7 crew captains trying to be the suborbinates. These guys as crews themselves would put up a good fight to an up/coming Supernova. Which is an awesome prospect to have these guys back you up for the next MARINEFORD EPIC BATTLE. It's these guys that is closest to the camera, so to say. They will get their own part of the page as introduction, not skipping those pagespaces. It is totally possible to end the story in just 2 arcs. First arc would be instant STRAWHAT/LAW/7CAPTAINS VS BIGMON and SHANKS VS KAIDO/KIDD/co. Or this varient, STRAWHAT/co n SHANKS VS KAIDO/KIDD/co n BIGMOM. Then second arc will deal with WG and REVOs. Must be both, winner of Arc 1 will deal with that. Hopefully the Monkey D family ofcourse. And more of Will of D. BUT OFCOURSE. WE MISSED BLACKBEARD. He's the final Arc. The One Piece will be behind them. Winner takes all. Maybe a small arc in terms of chapters. But everything will be covered by then. But ofcourse, he could take another 20 years to finish the last 50%, right? | ||

Manga Released: July 19, 1997 (wikipedia) Timeskip: between August 26th and September 30th, 2010 (according to release dates of mangareader; the Japanese dates would be a little bit different but that is not the point) Time between release and timeskip: 13 years If One Piece is 50% at the timeskip that means it will go until 2023. Not sure how you got 2030 (unless you were just doing hyperbole).
