I do remember that Crocus dude they met him when they met Brook's whale friend. I think that was when they officially entered grand line. I think the crew was still Sanji+ Nami + Usopp+zoro+luffy. | ||

Yes Nami and Vivi and them all broke down at one point. But when it mattered they stepped the fuck up. Plus Rebecca has literally broke down in one arc more then Nami, Robin, and Vivi have combined throughout the entire manga.... In my opinion she is a terrible character, especially for a pirate crew. | ||

Crocos was in Grandline, but with theories, you gotta stretch some of the story to make them happen. That theory is very sound, but it was also posted some time ago, given, with updates. He's done a good job and the amount of effort is crazy ^^ Impressive thinking anyways, crazy patterns and parallels. | ||

Ye, true for Crocus, even tho you could argue that the beginning of smthg can be the end of another  Point is, they meet a former Jolly Roger pirates crewmember as a conclusive point, to end one thing and begin another. Even tho crocus was not technically at the end of east blue, he is still the first person they encounter as a transition man between east blue and the first part of grandline. | ||

But you've got to acknowledge That That amount of coïncidences is at least suspicious  Plus, one thing I wanted to speak about was That all the east blue stuff was written 10++ years ago, and That Oda's mind and ideas have probably evolved and changed throught time. His construction and his conception of the way the first recruitments happenned were not entierly set at That time (see the pictures and drawing of his first conceptions of luffy's nakama on the same page). His vision probably evolved, and he may have created the pattern waaaay after the first set of recruits, aka during the second one... Not to mention That luffy grew has a character, and I find hum way more stereotyped in his actions now than what he was before. (by That i mean he is more reckless and stupid at the same time, and I feel like he was more... Not clever but thougtfull at the beginning of the manga. Only my opinion There, feel free to disagree )We can only guess But nonetheless, I agree thzt one of the strongest disclaimer of That theory has definitely the traits of gaimon. | ||

You can find patterns anywhere. This. The amount of details is large enough that by being selective, and 'stretching the story' as mentioned above, there probably are multiple plausible theories. It's just like a local grocer predicting an economic breakdown in the year 2050. He may be right, but I highly doubt it's for the right reasons. | ||

Ye And i agree with him on That. If You re-read the manga (linked above), you Can see That luffy's pretty serious about it. Even tho imo, we don't know if it's to join the crew or to just get him out the island. | ||
