Also pretty funny how strong guys like to move themselves around. Aokiji cycling the Grand Line. DF playing Spiderman with clouds. Ace using fire to boost forward like an engine. Mihawk just bawsing a solo ship. I guess if Rebecca joins she fulfills the levelheaded/normal person niche of the group (which zoro/nami used to be pre-Alabasta). I don't really see it as being a train-wreck if Rebecca joins but it's up to Oda to develop her character as the story goes on. She'd prolly just end up similar to ViVi but without the ViVi treatment (where everybody loves her even though they are actually similar lol ) | ||

Yea you guys are right, the girl going through something you couldn't even dream to identify with in terms of mental and physical trauma and stress is just a cry baby with no backbone. Give me a break, 98% of you guys would have fallen over dead if you had to go through a similar early childhood to late adolescent life. She is a survivor. She adapted to the circumstances (even though they were a far extreme away from her previous life) and did something. Did you guys bash Vivi too when she cried about her country's civil war a bunch of times in that arc? Or when she was helplessly screaming while in the clock tower? Hey I wish Oda would have taken the character in a different direction too but you guys have randomly decided to hardcore slur her just because people threw out the idea of her joining the Strawhats. | ||

Yah survivor due to plot armor that is. At least other female characters showed a spine or 2. Rebecca convenient whine through the ordeal without actually doing anything extraordinary. She has plot armor throughout make no mistake. | ||
