Yeah I've seen people say things like she's the replacement for Vivi and that Rebecca would actually join because she didnt grow up as the princess so she had less attachment to Dressrosa than Vivi did for Alabasta. idk. I'm not a fan of it. I don't really see her purpose in the crew

Go jagged, go in circles, it's Zoro the lost child! He also grew a bit more hair.

I was hopeful of Rebecca joining since she fit the niche of the female fighter + possible logia user(due to the mera mera being the price of victory) but Oda never showed that she had any ambition/dream like every SH had and/or sense of adventure. And she didn't obtain the fruit herself.
With how things went the way i could possibly see her being a member of an SH crew without being out of place is that she joins now and Oda builds/develops her sense of adventure as they travel and she obtains a fruit later. But even with that may end up awful.

Oda still has to build her a unique personality cause as of the moment outside fulfilling the "beautiful swordman bringing meat"(or was it just a bento that she gave to luffy i'm not sure) that Usopp once lied back on thriller park arc she's literally nothing interesting.

She has been developed just fine. She just has 0 reason or want to join. Her whole dream is to live peacefully with Kuros and to not have to fight anymore.

Maybe it's just me but i don't find her odd(like majority of the SH). She is different from robin/nami though Yeah that's the main issue she just sit in dressrosa and drink some tea and afk not go for grand adventure.

Well there's is also a potential of comedy where Sanji, Brook , Kinemon(since they are staying with them for the meantime) and maybe Franky(if Kyros misunderstands) of hitting on Rebecca and Kyros will go full "STAY AWAY FROM MUH DAUGHTER".

dude there's no way rebecca and kuro will join that makes fucking 0 sense.
they should just live happily ever after like they always wanted to. They're not criminals nor wanted, why ditch that for a life of pirates.
Pirates in luffy's crew need ambitions that can be realized by joining the crew, or is an outcast with nowhere else left to go (similar to how white beard works)
luffy - one piece / be the king
zoro - best swordman
nami - make map of the world
usopp - brave warrior of the sea
sanji - all blue
chopper - outcast
robin - find out void history, outcast
franky - build ship to sail grand line
brook - sail grand line to find whale, outcast
Rebecca has neither qualities, she's happy as she is, so let's just leave her alone with her dad, they waited like 10+ years for a proper peaceful life, they at least deserve that.
I think out of all the characters Barto is the most interesting character atm and I want him to join, but that'll be really bad because he would die of heart attack right away. I think barto might be somethig like the leader of the straw-hat first division (if it were to get rly big yonko status, which it really should)
They gonna have to fight zatoichi though, I'm actually worried...

Don't worry evan it's just hopeful thinking . We already discussed that they just wanna cuddle and drink tea in some house. So they don't have the sense of adventure that SH crew has. At most they'd prolly just hitchhike with the crew.
Barto is actually the character i hope wouldn't join. He's a fucking mafia lord and doesn't have sad baggage that he carries with him(in which all SH member has ) and he's not really good to begin with he's more like a fanatic imo.
Well Franky at the start wasn't exactly good but he was only robbing/murdering pirates which most commit atrocities and shit . Most of the SH while they don't follow rules but they are kind/good(even zoro who would chop/kill literally anything that is not Tashigi when needed is a naturally nice person if not threatened). Barto doesn't really fit that.
