Change the hairstyle and the highbrows and Ichigo, Lieutenant Kiba, Ukitake, Urahara are pretty much the same. That's why a lot of characters have very distinct hairdo and or facial extra features like tatoos, scars or mask. And yet again a retarded bankai. And you can smell the typical: " i get super strong but then I amlost die/become useless" double edged sword from a mile away. | ||

That's basically Gutt's power in the berserker armor, pretty sure his aura changed colors even (and it shows the berserker armor acting as a splint as his bones break). In Naruto, Guy and Lee also turned red as they unlocked their gates (which also hurt themselves). I wonder if that's some Japanese folktale or manga artists just like copying each other. | ||
