Too many stupid plot threads in this arc to keep track of, and none of them are compelling or interesting. Result, I have like no idea what this arc is even about, or where Ichigo is anymore. Wasn't Ichigo like the premise of the series or sth? | ||

I don't even understand it and until now I was clinging to the chance that the other sword would be awesome. Instead it was someones else sword, someone that I don't really care about. On top of that it just amazing that this sword just happens to hardcounter the current foe. I didn't know I could still be disappointed in Bleach xD | ||

If the opponent isn't a god, they would have been killed already. So the only time the god-killing sword coming out would be ... when there's an unkillable god. Sounds good to me! | ||

He's keeping his second sword not for its power, but for plot purpose, it could be a sword that summons a lot of bananas, it would not change anything to him. Second problem, it's not his sword either, meaning his lieutenant has to be around for the power to be used. But he told her to leave the area just before the fight. Final one is that she barely knew about the sword, let alone the power attached to it, so she came back without having the sword as a purpose. So yeah, deus ex machina all the way through. | ||
