Then everyone acts as if he didn't personally kill hundreds of people(including named characters) at the beginning of the battle and they begrudge his death as if it were heroic. So stupid.
I really like the latest Bleach chapters. I hope for more funny dialogue and hopefully zombie kid gets destroyed forever. Never liked that ice midget.

It started off as a fight with burner finger guy Bazz -B and then turned into a fight with Cang (I think his desgination was N or I) after Cang said to Bazz-B that the majesty ordered that the people who stole the bankai's of the captains are the only ones allowed to fight those captains... hitsugaya ends up taking a pill that temporarily hollowfies him, gets his bankai back and defeats cang... then collapses shortly thereafter.
Although there is coherrent story progression I feel like it's all in vain. Ultimately these fights are filler and feel like they're not adding anything to the overall storyline... unless it somehow turns out all the dead shinigami get re-animated, the CC comes back and ultimately owns Yuha Bach and Ichigo pwns Uryuu (on whom Yhwach presumably bestowed his power). Even if so, that's still a rubbish storyline... I just don't see the next few chapters contiburing at all. They're just another "fight on the side" that no one cares about.

she can zombify non-quincies alive. she specifically said she can only zombify quincies if they DIE. So Hitsugaya probably isn't dead, was just weak from his last fight and was easily overtaken by her blood zombie magic.
