Not that I'm hating, but I see a lot of comments that Bleach is now better than Naruto, and I simply don't think it's true yet. I do want this series to be good though, I came this far for God's sake. | ||

This stretched all the way back to the start of Bleach. It isn't anything new. It was like Old Man Yama's sub-captain not using his full power as long as Yama was alive. He only used his bankai and full power once and was killed cuz they stole his bankai in the process. And ya Captain Kurosutchi mentioned it when Ichi was speaking to him when Zangetsu broke in Bankai, that Ikkaku's Bankai was forever damaged and it is now not even half of the power it used to be. He said it about Renji's former Bankai, that was also damaged but it is now apparently fixed cuz it wasn't his real Bankai (like Ichigo). | ||

I guess KT kinda wanted to do it for the critics or something. I'm still upset Unohana died. I was very happy when Byakuya didn't. | ||

The thing that enticed me about bleach were not the fights per se but the background behind the fights, the stories, the discoveries, the bankais etc. etc. Fights in many mangas are very deus ex machina... you can't have the main character slosing and they're main characters because they pull off something special (like in Halo, Master Chief was picked not because he was best but because he was luckiest Spartan). All manga heroes have a certain je ne sais quoi that's a little bullshit. Damage report: -> Captain Commander deceased - + Show Spoiler + killed by Quincy leader Yuha Bach after his bankai was stolen (we got to see CC's bankai. it was awesome!) -> Captain Commander's liutenant deceased (happened off screen) -> Unohana deceased - + Show Spoiler + trained Zaraki. Turns out Zaraki faced unohana as a kid (Unohana is the original Kenapchi) and for once Unohana and Zaraki both felt like they were being challenged and subsequently enjoyed battle. . As a consequence of that fight and as he almost managed to defeat Unohana, Zaraki subconsciously made a decision not to fight to his full potential in order to be able to feel vulnerable and thus enjoy battle. By killing Unohana he dealt with those subconscious issues and his zunpukuto subsequently awoke.... Lots of other cool stuff happened including + Show Spoiler + Ichigo re-discovering his Zunpukuto etc. etc. All in all, bleach has been really good. The only complaint I have relates to pacing and the rediculous fillers - i.e. fights with no consequence to the overall story - but then again that's like every manga EVER! You should skip the Arc after Hueco Mundo and just start at chapter 480. The managa is up to chapter 592 but some of the more recent chapters (say 540'ish onwards) take like... 30 seconds - 2 minutes to read. That has been what most people have complained about combined with very little relevant story progression and bizzarre sexual references.... P.S. It's been a long time since I seen u on the site Testie. What r u up to these days? | ||

I guess he wasn't really focused if we look at Grimmjopws attack and assume the arrancars were all on the same level Bald guy at 100% barely beat his opponent, hitsugaya at 100% one shot his opponent with the seal on him he was just weaker then the Arrancar so Hitsugayta with the seal is slightly weaker then baldie | ||
