Fuck you Kubo. 2 more lines telling us his name wouldn't have changed your opinion. I guarantee you would have been in here: "My name is <insert name>!!!"

Fuck you Kubo. There's a lot of story left to tell and it has to be spread out. As much as people crap all over Kubo for pacing, it actually comes together quite well when you can read them all together and not as weekly releases. The point is that Kubo's trollishness and terrible amateur writing seeps through every chapter. You want to make that delivery while the reader is on the edge of his seat. It has much more of an impact than "Stay tuned and find out next week!" Next week I'll be like "Oh hey, so that's the name of his sword. Cool beans. What's next?" I mean, do you even remember the random feet the suddenly appeared with a sword pointed at Urahara? Do we officially know who it was yet? No. Do we even fucking care at this point? No. Judging by the grammar, we all think it's grimmjow and even during that chapter there was no hype about it. Kubo made us wait 5 months to "reveal" that and no one even gave two fucks by then. Sure it's fine to have cliffhangers here and there. It's a cheap trick to keep readers anticipating the next weeks chapter, but it's effective nonetheless... However, it's only effective if you utilize it correctly and don't overly abuse it, annoying your customer base in the process. Actually we do know who that was with Urahara, it was Grimmijow
He is saying that they never revealed who that person truly was and left that as a cliff hangar. Everyone suspect it grimmijow but at this point they have left the cliffhangar for too long that everyone probably even forgotten about that cliffhangar. So when Grimmijow come up, everyone going to be kind of confused and wtf. Especially now that there is so much stuff going on and cliffhangar happening left and right, it hard to keep track of everyone. I think Kubo definitely should of just shown who was with Urahara.

I liked the chapter a lot. Ichigo getting thrown out, Zaraki finally communicating with his own zanpakutou... I'm hoping Ichigo will finally clear shit up about his own past with his dad. Hopefully in that process we'll see Zangetsu and Hichigo again. Zaraki needs to get bankai nao :D
|
Zaraki will get his bankai only for it to be stolen then Ichigo comes to save the day with his hollow/quincy/shinigami/bs power. He is for some reason Quincy so maybe they will actually explain his origins... I mean wasn't the reveal already hinted after he defeated Aizen and then again in the Fullbringer arc. For some reason even this being the final arc doesn't assure me things will be explained.

I'll admit it sucks when we have to wait each week for an update of only 1 or 2 forks in the story, but like I said earlier, when you read it as a volume, the pacing works out really well. It's actually extremely frustrating when manga or anime has to waste time with a recap to get you to care again. With Kubo, he leaves so many things unfinished 90% of the time, we're always wondering what was behind the "curtain."

Oh yes, Zaraki Kenpachi finally talking to his sword!
Wasn´t there an old chapter about crawling before you can walk, or maybe the other one around?

Oh snap, finally kenpachi and his zanpakuto!! :D
Also lol at the ichigo not being able to do the training :S

I'm ill at the moment, and so picked up Bleach through the sources linked in this thread.
... What the hell did they make of this after Soul Society? Actually, halfway through that already.
I'm at 320 now, and it feels as if the last 160 had story progression worthy of maybe 20. Too many characters who all get their own multi-episode fights, too much talk in fights, every fight is just a pointless progression of "hurr i got you" - "durr i only tricked you, i'm actually stronger!" - "herpaderp i was just holding back" - "durr Derp this isn't even my final form".
Is there any reason to read the next 200?

So, just to be clear - Unohana's bankai (strongest attack form of one of the strongest shinigami) did absolutely nothing? Coool, I wonder what Zaraki's bankai will be. Maybe his sword will start to smell funny or start shooting butterflies.

clearly her bankai is the TRUE greatest illusion power in all of soul society and she merely faked her own death long enough for kenpachi to get a shikai

As was said several hundred times alrdy in this thread. Zaraki's sword is in permanent shikai. If anything we might actually see what his sword looks like non-shikai if he can control his powers now. Or it'll just be like Ichigo's sword and we only see shikai and bankai, not the normal state.

Not 100% sure but I think he was joking in that post

That may have been said several times in this thread but not once has it been said in the manga. It's purely speculation. What has been established is that you have to be able to talk to your Zanpakuto before you can achieve shikai. Who said every Zanpakuto has to look like every other Zanpakuto in it's normal state anyway? Uraharas looks like a cane.
I don't think his bakai will be anything other than a bigger sword anyway so it doesn't really matter.
EDIT. Nevermind I just checked the wiki and found out I was completely wrong. It still doesn't make sense that he obtained shikai without knowing it's name though.

Something along the lines that his spiritual power is to strong so he is blindly ignoring his zanpakuto screaming in pain from the unbalance it creates. Thus forcing itself into shikai. Don't remember the lines exactly but most of it was said during his first encounter with Ichigo and then again some in Hueco Mundo when he hints that he knows the gender of his sword so he's heard it's voice somewhat at least.
