Though I believe that timeless space thing is also just so convenient, just like Orihimes "I fix everything" power. Why wouldnt people just invent some technique to be able to stay in that timeless place and just train and go WTFBBQ just like Ichigo did when he powered up before he went vs HogyokuAizen. Maybe 1-2 years arent that long for Shinigamis but still.
Also regarding that, some space where time stops and you can train out of time and come out like you are a new person, DragonballZ anyone? ._.
What would actually be pretty cool and intresting to the manga would be if something completely unexpected happened now. Like if some Div Zero guy just killed some Captain or did something completely irrational. I want this manga to have me go "oooooh shit, what the fucks happening" just like when it was Ichigo vs Kenpachi, Ichigo vs Byakuya and all the creepy/cold calculated stuff Aizen did in the SS arc. It was so fucking cool. Now its just, "I wonder how he is gonna plotkai and defeat this guy..."

also bach cant kill CC in his bankai state. he was only able to kill him in shikai. thats the entire reason they stole everyones bankai because they would get shat on otherwise.

I think he meant that a Quincy is a version of human. Just a human who was able to absorb and develop techniques with reishi.

regardless bach is not stronger than CC in bankai. bach is only able to beat him in his normal state. thats the entire reason the quincy army is stealing everyones bankai. they cant win unless they do.
it took then 1000 years for them to develop a device to steal bankais and finally invade SS.

The requirement is simple. When the character has outlived his or her usefulness he cedes his bankai to the enemy so Ichigo will have a "seemingly" harder time and/or emotional investment in the fight against nazi quincies from the moon.

1. I'm not sure why people think it's inconceivable for the five members of Squad 0 to be stronger than the entire Gotei 13. If they are all on par with Yama, or even just a little weaker, that would easily be the case. Yama himself could take out most of the rest of the Gotei 13 by himself.
2. The previous captain of squad 12 could just as easily be the fat lady as opposed to the serious looking one. The little vizard girl was close to her because she was supposed to be motherly. I've seen enough Japanese anime and videogames to see certain stereotypes of motherly women.

Aizen could have easily wiped it out in a matter of seconds if he wasnt playing cat and mouse with non important characters. then again i guess gin was the main reason for the delay. so ya its BS
It wasn't explicitly revealed in fullbringer arc but I think it nudged something about how the whole Soul society had their eyes on their substitute shinigami and how everything about ichigo's fate was manipulated by someone. Thus, they were aware of the imminent plotkai's that were incoming. CC was in contact with urahara so he probably was the one puppeteering urahara's actions (hollowfication and hogyoku) behind the scenes and making it look like he had nothing to to with it. Aizen also knew about this quincy/shinigami potential thus he took part in it too(?) The same goes for CC's higher ups in the palace. All planned out in order to immediately bring out the true potential of the ultimate species that was a mixture of shinigami and quincy genes. Also, inb4 zangetsu was originally Isshin's and was only lended to ichigo in order to supress quincy powers from manifesting since birth. also explains why the fuck ichigo was OP at the start of the series (leaking reiatsu everytime and how easy he got his bankai)
anyways, bach is practically both quincy and shinigami now that he got CC's bankai. technically he got his shinigami side from the strongest shinigami, and his quincy, well... he is obviously the strongest quincy around.
it's all up to plotkai hollow/shinigami/quincy yellow haird guy to make something happen. tbh I think squad zero guys will only be OP at the start and get their asses kicked one by one after some panels. (do they deserve it? i think kubo will off panel their deaths bacause he will be too lazy to come up with a shitload of new OP abilities)

to say taht the CC knew about the hollowification is complete BS urahara was doing his experiments in complete secrecy
