I knew Byakuya had to win, but I can't help but feel disappointed about how he did it. I guess I just don't like the character much. I feel like the fight should have had more to it, turning Byakuya against them as a desperate "he's still beating me". Have Byakuya fight another captain would be boss. The half shinigami/half hollows will meet with the full bringer survivors, calling it now. Welcome to the past several years of Bleach? It is kind of funny watching the anime catch up to the manga in this arc. I honestly felt a little sick when I realized the anime had added things to the story that included better foreshadowing, logic, and reason to the arc. At this point reading, watching, and complaining about Bleach are just part of my weekly routine though... Not really expecting much anymore. | ||
