New characters are introduced for no good reason and then used as plot devices then shuffled off for the next batch of idiots. Well ONE thing I figured out is Ichigo's dad is still alive hence that one chapter where he said 'he'd fall out of the window and die' Basically he's a Human who has Shinigami powers which are "rare" | ||

Wtf is with this brand new fullbringer shit? What have these people been doing the entire time? For the entire story, from when Ichigo first met Rukia, through all of the arcs, up to after he beat Aizen, have they just been sitting there bored? You'd think soul society would probably know about them, given that they're some random group of a few people and the shinigami are an organized, structured group that is essentially law enforcement. Or at least Urahara, who is super smart and all. Seriously, these guys just haven't been doing shit for the past three years, and nobody has ever heard of them until they approached Ichigo? And if fucking "fullbringer" is the reason why Chad's ability works, that makes even less sense. No one stopped to question, "Hey, why the fuck can this guy make giant weapons out of his arms? Isn't he just a human?" Somebody HAD to know about fullbringer before this, and I guess they just didn't think a group of super-powered humans was worth mentioning. Also, what a bullshit mechanism of a power. I feel like Kubo just took a bunch of cool ideas he had, put them all under one umbrella power, and then explained it all away using some vague words about the "souls in all objects." There seems to be very little connection between how each person's fullbringer works. Main bad guy and the guy who recruited Ichigo each take a single item and make it a sword. Chad takes his own fucking skin and weaponizes it (which would imply that he has a soul, but his skin also has its own soul). And then the girl has random hearts that she throws at things, making them shrink and warp into her dollhouse. Completely unrelated. Also, the dude with the eyepatch has a fullbringer related to time? I'm sorry, does the concept of time have a soul now? Or did Kubo literally introduce a concept and forget about it in the span of two chapters? | ||
