Fucking stupid movie that makes you hate it if you have an active brain. As it went on I was just like, there better be something good that I slogged through this for (it's really short but it still feels like it goes on far too long because it has 0 ideas), and then there's just, not. And when I say 0 ideas I really mean 0, it's all just horror scenes (some of which is well done, I give it that) and the only thing your intelligence can occupy itself with is figuring out the answer. But it doesn't give you clues and just plays tricks, so by halfway through I was just like "tell me the answer." As the pointlessness kept going after an hour I got to thinking "hey this would be a GREAT shaggy dog story." And I sort of wish it was cause then it would at least have been funny. It's almost a shaggy dog story anyway only without the comic intent. And it ropes in the "based on a true story" thing that also just makes it seem exploitative cause it doesn't explore any question that that raises, only uses it for this pointless exercise. | ||

Just watched that Bungaku Shoujo from abooooove too. t'was okay, a bit too predictable although I'm kinda interested in the book Night on the Galactic Railroad now. | ||
