Fun fact, this movie holds the record for the most amount of re-takes in a film. There is a scene involving a jianzi game that they did over 2900 takes for a single shot, pretty crazy. The movie actually went over budget because of this. | ||

For kids: Excellent horror-ish movie, especially because it's rewarding for an adult at the same time and has good themes. Probably too scary for very young kids though (rightly PG rather than G rated). | ||

I fully expected this movie to be a joke but I actually thought it was done really well. Again, highly entertaining movie....but I think the director handed the script over to his 9 year old child to finish. And, imo, most DEFINITELY not better than Avatar. Avatar was farking legendary comparatively. It might clear things up if you knew the movie was a sequel :/. | ||

Also pretty good, definitely one of the most well done horror movies I've seen. I can't stop thinking about it because it engages your brain as well as your gut. | ||

It stars John Turturro who is always entertaning.
