![]() Pretty good. Didn't expect to hear so much racism in it but it was actually kinda funny most of the time :S ![]() Awesome. Fun fact, this movie holds the record for the most amount of re-takes in a film. There is a scene involving a jianzi game that they did over 2900 takes for a single shot, pretty crazy. The movie actually went over budget because of this.

![]() Plot (no spoilers) : + Show Spoiler + On the final days of World War II, 14-year-old Seita and his four-year-old sister Setsuko are orphaned after their mother is killed during an air-raid by American forces in Kobe, Japan. After having a falling-out with their aunt, they move into an abandoned bomb shelter. With no surviving relatives and their emergency funds and rations depleted, Seita and Setsuko must struggle to survive their hardships as well as those of their country, which is on the losing end of the war. - Copypaste from http://myanimelist.net/anime/578/Grave_of_the_Fireflies - Ahh what an greatly done anime movie. I really liked it much because I was very simple and different to other movies because it had little to none plot twisting. Sad and rough too.

![]() For adults: Not very much depth but a great light fun movie that's not even a bit obnoxious (a flaw I find in many pixar movies, for example) great storytelling with enthralling visuals. For kids: Excellent horror-ish movie, especially because it's rewarding for an adult at the same time and has good themes. Probably too scary for very young kids though (rightly PG rather than G rated).

![]() Posted High Tension because I recently saw this not realizing until afterwards it was directed by Alexandre Aja. I fully expected this movie to be a joke but I actually thought it was done really well. Sure its pretty exploitative and semi ridiculous, but for a movie like this I thought they did as good a job as is humanly possible. ![]() Saw this recently (available on instant netflix for those who have it) and really enjoyed it. ![]()

![]() http://robpg.wordpress.com/2011/01/31/the-green-hornet/ I’m sure in 3D on a good screen, and in great quality, this movie might be fun to look at for someone who needs to go to bed before 9:30, but for the rest of us, let’s save our time and money.

WTF was up with the Tron character? They built him up as this super bad-ass all movie long, this silent but deadly, mysterious, ninja warrior guy.....and then just suddenly killed him with no explanation or purpose. WTF? WTF was up with the white light cycle? They bring it up several times, it's described as the fastest one of all time, they have that awesome light cycle duel, etc. When we see him take the "fastest bike ever" alone into the heart of the enemy city.....you're thinking, fark yeah, epic battle coming up. Heck no, he just hands it over to some random hobo, never to be seen again. Zeus.......wtf was he? They just suddenly introduce this really interesting character out of nowhere, and then with nary an explanation or justification, just kill him right off. Really? Again, highly entertaining movie....but I think the director handed the script over to his 9 year old child to finish. And, imo, most DEFINITELY not better than Avatar. Avatar was farking legendary comparatively. It might clear things up if you knew the movie was a sequel :/.

![]() Watched this Japanese horror last night. Man is it a FREAKY TWISTED MOVIE. Also pretty good, definitely one of the most well done horror movies I've seen. I can't stop thinking about it because it engages your brain as well as your gut.

![]() Quiz Show It's a docudrama about the rigging of a game show that happened in the 1950s. It stars John Turturro who is always entertaning. Very good movie, I really liked it. 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. ![]() The Taking of Pelham 123 Very good thriller about a group that hijacks a subway for ransom. Great performance by Denzel Washington who plays the subway dispatcher that negotiates with the hostages.

I have to say though of all the Jackie Chan movies I've seen that one and Wheels on Meals were my favourite. Name any other Jackie Chan movie that is good... Truth be told now that I think of it if I had to rewatch all Jackie Chan movies I wouldn't enjoy a single one of them. They're all pretty much pretty shit. Lol, the Street Fighter II scene had me laughing, but not in a good way. It was just bad...I never read that manga it was based on though. All Jackie movies are shit? Have you have watched the Police Story films?

All Jackie movies are shit? Have you have watched the Police Story films? Yes, they were all pretty shit - basically involved one big scene at the end of each movie. Drunken Master was OK. And are you serious... You called Street Fighter... A... Manga?
