Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: [narrating] Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?
When asked about the best and worst movie he starred in, Ewan Mc Gregor rsponded Trainspotting and Star Wars... I couldnt agree more.
Go watch it 9/10

Just watched Sympathy for Mr. Violence.
If you are one of those who gave oldboy 11/10 your brain will explode when you try to rate this masterpiece. I'm speechless, all the little details, the metaphors, the symbols, the cinematography, the story, the acting & how it all comes together. Goddamn what a strong movie, it's all I can say. Kurosawa level shit.

Moon was amazing. thx guys!

I enjoyed it, 7.5/10. Interestingly, somewhat unoriginal premise, but it was done in an original way. Ending left something to be desired. Acting was good, Dax Shepard has never disappointed me. As I alluded to, there's some unclear points in the movie that I would've like to be crystal clear, but perhaps that's the point of the movie.
Worth a watch, not even that long of a movie.

I really liked this movie 8/10 It was a pain to see Ed Wood direct his movies so slappy, but he really never got a chance to prove he could do something good either.. Everyone is just making it hard to create the movie he had in his head. They are changing the story all the time and want to have there own actor or maybe send some special message etc...
And with this said I think this quote sums up the movie quite well: Orson Welles - "Visions are worth fighting for."

![[image loading]](http://onlytheblogknowsbrooklyn.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/the-big-lebowski.jpeg) Been a long time since I watched it last. Dunno, I just could not get into it this time around...maybe if I was high it would have been better.
![[image loading]](http://www.moviedownfree.com/picz/mov_police_story_3.jpg) Feels like the series is just getting worse from here. It was still decent, and it did have a jaw-dropping scene with jackie hanging from a helicopter, blew my mind. Next up on Netflix is New Police Story, so I am hoping it will be better.
![[image loading]](http://www.boingboing.net/cove_xlg.jpg) While this comes off as biased, It's hard to sympathize with the japanese government. The whole cover up of the dolphin meat being sold as whale meat, all the while knowing all the mercury that's in them and being sold to schoolchildren. The last scene especially, where you finally see the outright slaughter of the dolphins, just a bunch of japs using fishing nets to push them to the shore, then stabbing at them randomly until the water is completely red. If that scene doesn't get any emotion out of you, I really don't know what to say. Also, fuck Sea World.
After watching The Cove, I want to check out Sharkwater now. I have heard pretty good things about it. It's something more close to my heart as well since I have always had an interest in sharks since I was a child.

Just saw The good, the bad and ugly. I hate westerns, but this was an amazing movie. Oh and the music was prolly the best i ever heard ~ Morricone !

The plot was good, really nice suspense and interesting, the movie fails a bit at the ending which seems rushed and out of place after a nice and long introduction. It's a bit like right after you get hooked into the story and start wondering how it's going to develop, instead of seeing some mid-movie action you're taken straight to the final scene and before you know it BAM! The End. 7/10 because 90% of this movie is good and the ending is directing failure in my opinion. The Ghost WriterI've said it before and I'll say it again: Polanski is a genius. And I think that the charges against him helped with this as it kept him away from Hollywood so he wouldn't get spoiled. As far as the movie goes it's bloody brilliant. The twists and turns keep you on edge at all times, the composition is superb. The suspense just hangs in the air the entire time, you can almost touch it. Amazing movie.
Ultra marines was really terribad imo really slow and bad animation I also found ghost writer to be extremely slow and uninteresting

Nowhere near as good as it was suggested to be. I'm surprised it's gotten some random awards at film festivals. I'll be blunt - it was a waste of time.

New Police Story is quite good, from memory. If you got a lot out of The Cove you might also be interested in Earthlings, which is about the whole of the meat industry (not just fishing):

Fucking shit, I saw Will Ferral and I was instantly skeptical but then I saw someone else replied and recommended it so thought would give it a chance... I did not smile one single time during the entire thing... On the same level of shitness as movies like Tropic Thunder.

Tangled
I am a 26 year old male who is a sucker for animated flicks. I went to see this with the wife and we both enjoyed it. Id say 8/10. Disney has the princess story formula down perfect (they have done it once or twice).

Very boring (the most boring of the entire series so far) and when the action did happen in this movie it was poorly done and didn't make much sense. Could be a good movie if not for the entire middle two-thirds of it at least which was pointless and uninteresting. They really shouldn't make it over 2 hours long as it drags on forever.
