Changed my viewing schedule a bit
The movie was pretty good, the animation was a bit inconsistent, varying from great to passable, I liked some of the effects (like parts of the movie looking like some painted artwork and not CG), not a fan of face capture.
The plot was good, really nice suspense and interesting, the movie fails a bit at the ending which seems rushed and out of place after a nice and long introduction. It's a bit like right after you get hooked into the story and start wondering how it's going to develop, instead of seeing some mid-movie action you're taken straight to the final scene and before you know it BAM! The End.
7/10 because 90% of this movie is good and the ending is directing failure in my opinion.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Polanski is a genius. And I think that the charges against him helped with this as it kept him away from Hollywood so he wouldn't get spoiled.
As far as the movie goes it's bloody brilliant. The twists and turns keep you on edge at all times, the composition is superb. The suspense just hangs in the air the entire time, you can almost touch it.
Amazing movie.

After watching The Cove, I want to check out Sharkwater now. I have heard pretty good things about it. It's something more close to my heart as well since I have always had an interest in sharks since I was a child.
