Watched Departed before without knowing that it was only a rip off of this fantastic film (not to say Departed is a bad rip off, it's definitely on par with this one but the story is more or less 1:1 the same) | ||

Still, the movie is a bit of a let down. It has a ton of potential from the very beginning and even though it's a very pretty film (too pretty, imo), it's shallow in many ways. I guess what you'd expect from a fashion designer. It had a lot more to work with than most heartbreak films, but it just drifted into a very cliche mold. The best parts didn't get explored enough. | ||

I also watched Shortbus, which was a surprisingly good film, even if it does get carried away with being a porn movie periodically. | ||

As his memory returns, he makes contact with various people from his past. Saw Texas, Paris today. Definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen. | ||

Popular French movies started to lack depth years ago, I'm not sure what it is. Easy to watch though which is a plus. And Ludivine Sagnier was absolutely smoking hot. | ||
