"The last airbender" and "Inception" seem like they could be pretty good movies but I wont hold my breath, I'm keeping my expectation level low...!

I liked it. Sure, it wasnt the BEST, MOST AMAZING sequel to a super-hero movie, but I think it definately pulled off what it was going for.. More booms and bangs and another semi-involving and complicated story, like the 1st.. I mean hell, from all the add-ons and twists and secret innuendo hinting around at SHIELD and the coming together of the Avengers, whats not to like? They're pretty much tellling you that an Avengers movie will be coming together and that there'll be other singular Avengers movies, like Thor or Captain America. seems awesome and I can't wiat. however, I would like to see what they will do with a new Captain America movie.. seeing as though he's not really a superhero. per-say.. I mean, he is a super-solider, but thats pretty much just enhancing your senses and abilites, liek running faster or lifting a few hundred more pounds or w/e.. he can't really demolish entire buildings liek the Hulk or fly around the city liek spider-man.. plus i heard that his movie will be centered in a WW2 scenery.. so hopefully it'll have some nice arch-nemesis villians involved rather than just, hey, its cap-america beating up nazi's.. the end.. glgl

Try to get a version with subtitles though. ![]() Other than that, go smoke some weed, turn down the lights and have a look into this one: Im no fan of Horror Movies, but this is just scary on so many levels and will haunt you for the nex weeks, so nothing for the feint-hearted. Lars von Trier seriously needs huge amounts of Prozac. ![]()

Just dled and watched this, one of the best movies i've seen in a long time, and as far as thrillers go, one of the best ever. SOOO intense, jung-ho may be the most badass korean i've ever seen. 10/10 for sure.

Pretty good movie, but I'm an avid Jay Chou fan and at first thought it was just okay-bad because I was only focusing on his part, but looking at everything else, it was ok. Iron Man 2 was a disappointment. Not bad, but did not live up to its expectations and hype. Also saw Book of Eli the other day. Ok movie. Comments on it: + Show Spoiler + The ending definitely got me. I love predicting things, like the outcomes of movies. At first I predicted the Bible was blank and he memorized the the Bible through the voice of God. Being blind totally got me. At least I was right about the memorizing the Bible part. Green Screen Fail in row boat to Alcatraz scene Explosion Bomb Fail when they through the fake book out the 2nd floor window and the explosion came form under the car instead of from the "book" Just Logic Fail when he threw the fake book bomb out of the 2nd floor window and suddenly ran back down to the first floor to join the others. Shoot from the 2nd floor???

Shoot from the 2nd floor??? + Show Spoiler + His blindness only "got" you because the actor did a piss poor job of acting blind throughout the movie. He behaved like someone with perfect sight in just about all but a tiny handful of situations. Actually, he behaved like some sort of omnipotent killing machine which completely broke any sense of realism that the movie was trying to portray but that's a different criticism altogether.

For the first time I checked out the IMDB boards to see if that would help clear things for me. Bad idea. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209144/faq#.2.1.9 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209144/board/flat/162347365 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209144/board/nest/162898813 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0209144/board/nest/162691037 If only the plot was as easy to follow as "Mullholand Drive". i actually think the plot makes alot of sense now. then again, i've seen the movie like 9 or 10 times. i love that movie ![]() Hmm this is to Warrior Madness ... from what I know....SPOILER COMING! + Show Spoiler + the main guy and his wife survive the attack from the guys but he gets amnesia as a result. The wife herself is a diabetic and he killed her by injecting insulin multiple times (the story where he tells of the guy injecting his wife is actually him doing it to his own wife, obviously the story is made up and represents his story). Thats that so far, now what makes this movie weird is that the main character starts to develop his own story on how it went down and makes a case out of the incident in order to relieve his pain. He sets up a name (John G) and tries to solve his own mystery with the help of his friend. When they actually kill that one dude near the end he finds out that that is not the guy he is looking for and that is when his friend tells him the truth, that there is no john G and that he is making it up to cope with his killing of his wife the main character doesnt believe it (but he fakes it). so he goes and tattoos a new clue that will force himself to frame his"friend" as john G, the guy he is looking for this whole movie. So when he wakes up his plan goes to work and he basically follows his clues all the way to kill his friend This is how I see it as well but I dunno... Something just doesn't feel right about it. Also, just saw a newer movie called fish tank: ![]() I was bloowwnnnn away. The lead star puts up such a captivating, mesmerizing performance that I felt every pang of emotion that she felt. Fuck that was a good movie.
