Finally got around to seeing this.

Absolutely amazing leading performance in line with The Wrestler. Also has a great soundtrack and Colin Farrel, Maggie Gyllenhall and Robert Duval are very good in it too.

I've been under a rock with movies the past few years, so going to the video store is a total crap shoot. (It doesn't help that I can't read teh back of the box).

I picked up Seven Pounds with Will Smith from 2008 on the weekend. It is a pretty polarizing movie, you either love it or hate it, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

i actually shed a tear at the end of the movie, and it doesnt happen to me

Brilliant movie. I also like his Pursuit of Happyness if you like a less intense(can't find a good word for it) feel to movies, but still remains rather serious and intriguing.

I am going to check out due to hearing about Protoss collosi being some machines in this movie :p

Just saw Juno for the first time (I know I'm behind with movies lol). Thought it was pretty good. Kinda feeling like it could have been better though at some parts.

I thought the children sucked but I'll check out eden lake.

Saw

and it was surprisingly awesome. I thought it was gonna be gay from the previews but nope, I enjoyed it immensly. Although nostalgia hit home and I wish I could go back to like 4 years ago but eh thats just my addict talking. It was a little unnerving to see the old actors on the young ones OO

Btw I saw this a few years back and was shocked that i hadn't heard of it before really. It's kinda like rounders but with pool players and definitely very badass. + Christopher Walken is in it, that guys a pimp.

Give some feedback if anyone watches it

So I just watched Conan the Barbarian. And immediately after the film was over I noticed a sharp, shooting pain around my groin area. So I pulled down my shorts and I was not surprised to find that my balls had grown three sizes.

I am against saying a favorite movie because I could compile a top 50 in each "genre" that would change depending on my mood, but if you were to torture me for that special "one"... it would have to be Royston Tan's 4:30 that I saw with my girlfriend at the time on a psuedo date. The movie heavy that we both walked out of the theater in dead silence, and when I tried to make lighthearted conversation to break the silence there was a noticeably upset quiver in my voice. My girlfriend burst into tears after I completed my brief mentioning of the film. Fast forward to present and we're now married, and still reflect on the point that the movie brought us closer in a moment that we least expected it. That movie accelerated our relationship in a way I couldn't have expected, let alone articulate. have yet to get over this movie.

Seek this movie out, and see it. May it haunt you like it does me, in the best possible way.

Anyone got a download link for this ?

I'm really interested in seeing this but can't find a good reliable link.

Edit: I guess Google >>>>> Isohunt

website is called Download Foreign Films .com or something like that, search it on Google and you'll find it. There are links to download 4:30 on that website.

Zombieland. Fuck yes.
Kick-Ass. Awesomeness.
Surrogates. Most fail of a movie, ruined my image of Jack Bauer.
Grown Ups. Good, not great.

i would recommend to everyone to watch "Klass", The Class in English.

It's in estonian so you need subtitles, but it's really worth it.
i watched it some time ago, it's not a new film but i figured not many people here would know about it since it's not in english

Saw "The Informant!" last night (Matt Damon, directed by Steven Soderbergh), should've been "The Informant...". Distracting and incredulous storytelling, even though it was based on a true story. But it was interesting right near the end.

For the past few days I watched "Avatar" the 3rd time, skipped some love/gag scenes. Stephen Lang's "Colonel" is a great villain.

Watched Pixar's "The Incredibles" again for the 3rd+ times. Skipped only the first part (the interview). Best Pixar movie I think.

"The Grocer's Son" was ok. French family drama/love story.

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith again. Or as I call it, the final nail.

I thought it was bad when it came out, contrary to a lot of popular opinion, and now rewatching it, it's ... much worse. Absolute garbage.

I can't even go through everything bad about it, the list is too long.
Some of the major points:

The script is an abomination and ruins every scene with dialogue.
Hayden Christensen ruins every single scene with Anakin. He is supposedly overcome by fear, anger, passion, aka the Dark Side, yet he can't deliver a line that contains emotion.
Padme's character takes a 180 degree turn from pretty awesome (but what did she ever see in Anakin anyway?) to so bad it's borderline offensive to women. (some Stephanie Meyer level crap here)
The Jedi Council is so incompetent it's way beyond belief.
Although he was obviously arrogant and passionate throughout, Anakin's final turn to the dark side is ridiculous. One day he is going to arrest Palpatine with Mace Windu, the next he's murdering little kids. And all because he's too stupid to realize that dreams aren't real. Or that Seriously Evil Guy is not quite likely to maintain any end of a deal he makes or tell the truth. He's freaking Darth Vader, the most badass movie villain ever, and this is how he went bad? What a farce.
The comic "relief", especially R2D2 scenes.
Palpatine is more funny than menacing.
The Darth Vader NOOOOOOO scene (aka DO NOT WANT)
Saying that Darth Vader and one of the most unwatchable movie characters I've ever seen are the same person.
Did I mention Padme randomly dying/losing the will to live WHILE HAVING TWINS?

There is one good scene in the entire movie, when the Jedi are being betrayed one by one, because it's actually sort of sad (aka evokes the intended response).

How does anyone like this movie? It has a 7.8 on imdb.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, your opinion man
