The sets were too dark, lighting was pretty bad but the movie was OK. Nothing new really, not particularly creative or innovative but otherwise a solid piece of SF.

This film made me understand people who hate CGI (e.g. Tarantino, Nolan) better. Incredible, incredible tense stuff. Fucking rough and dirty - I never had so much fun seeing people suffer. I love the restored version. I regret watching a German dubbed, cut down to 88 minutes version in a poor quality at first. | ||

It was alright. The reporter of the Novak element wasn't necessary at all. But as a homage to the original Robocop they did have a bunch of reports intertwined. + Show Spoiler + Also I guess OCP is going to be weird for the potential reboot. | ||

Phoenix is good, well-shot, and the tone of the film is an interesting surprise. Jonze seems to run out of ideas toward the end, but Her still remains a very pleasant and interesting love story and idea of the future. 8/10 | ||

This was a recommendation. It's cute and very feel good. What you want from a romance. I'd originally passed it the first time I saw the trailer because I apparently can't just enjoy a movie without it having relevance to me. A writer writes about a girl and the girl spontaneously exists. | ||

Decent movie about teenage pregnant homeless girls. You kinda want to reach through the movie and help her. The film's acting is amazing. Office Space Reddit has a hardon for this movie. Every scene is a meme. It's alright. It was nice to see Jennifer Anniston from like 15 years ago. She doesn't look like she's aged much. The movie seems to cut off at the very end though. It resolves through deus ex machina. | ||

Sounds kind of hipster to say it, and never having thought of it this way before, Office Space was more enjoyable in a pre-reddit world. It is still a great movie, but now so many people know some if not all of the jokes without having seen it, kind of detracts from the experience. | ||

7/10 Not as good as the last comic book movie I watched, Winter Soldier. But was good in it's own right. They made Electro actually feel really fucking amazing. He was always a weird character in the comics and wasn't too smart or seemed comical, not in this movie. He was badass, he had intent, and he didn't mess around. He actually lived up to what his character could do, control electricity and basically though lightning bolts at will and move just as fast. Goblin had a good creepy vibe and you could see the cruelness in his character, + Show Spoiler + though he literally only had like maybe 10min of screen time haha. Rhyno had even less than that and was basically just teaser trailer bullshit. They didn't even show the scene in the trailer where Harry is asking Peter why he's under surveillance, like wtf was that? Where'd that go... Also didn't expect that death to happen in this movie. Also no trailer at the end of the credits, stupid Sony not following the Marvel rules. + Show Spoiler + Though there is a weird abrupt cutscene in the middle of the regular black/white scrolling credits for like 20sec of the new Xmen movie showing Mystique, so I guess there's that... Made absolutely no sense and everyone was confused in the theaters. | ||
