Agreed. I liked the movie quite a bit but it definitely is not "full of action". In fact it was quite boring in the middle where they try to have something like a plot.

so what, your only argument is that the film is good because it was a success and drew some decent crititc's receptions? This is exactly what I'm angry about, that such a shitty film drew so much positive reviews. It had 7.8 at imdb after release, now it's 7.1. The film is shit, everyone who understands what cinematography is about knows that, too bad they are a minority.

The most exciting part of Pacific Rim was that it was the first movie I watched on my 3D monitor; the software converted 2D to 3D pretty sweet. Didn't see anything worth talking about in the film and it really started to drag on towards the end once the novelty of 3D-in-my-bed wore off.
