9/10 Never seeing any Star Trek, knowing almost nothing about the story, I really fucking enjoyed this movie :D. Beautiful CGI and I liked how they managed to make another completly different story and not follow previus movies or the series.
Wat.
I watched Blade 2 recently along with startrek >> startrek was a 8/10 while blade an 7/10 i dunno i wish i could've know the startrek series better :D
I really liked the movie. I think Sylar was a good choice to play Spock, and Scotty was great. Kirk's acting could have been a bit better, but all in all, it was a great movie. Being a moderate Star Trek fan, I did notice some "bad" parts, but it's still a good film. I'm glad they didn't bring Kirk back :<
Star Trek 8/10. Great film for an action. I never thought Star Trek worked very well on film, and that was (beside the Wrath of Karn) the best Star Trek film. All the actors did well. It was well scripted.
Star Trek 5/10 - Am i the only person who didnt like this movie? Seriously i thought it was insanely cheesy and predictable. The entire movie followed the same formula they use in all these hollywood movies so perfectly that i could predict the ending about 20 minutes into the movie. I gotta say this was one of the stupidest and most formulaic movies i've ever seen. The last half hour or so was painful to watch it was so cliche and ridiculous.
Nice to see this revived, watched tons of shit lately....
Vexille: 5/10 - Thought it would be some techno thriller type shit but I was really disappointed by it T_T
Afro Samurai: Resurrection: 2/10 - What the fuck was this shit? wow......
Saving Private Ryan: 9.5/10 - Fucking awesome just for the Normandy Landing part. Best WW2 movie I have seen so far.
Full Metal Jacket: 6.5/10 - God this is so overrated, I was pretty bored honestly. The first half went on way longer then necessary, and then when it finally gets to Vietnam, barely shit happens. Not a bad movie though, I felt its purpose was more to portray what the military and war can do to your psyche.
Snatch: 8/10 - Pretty cool yo.
Sunshine: 7/10 - Honestly the first half was great, it would have been SO MUCH BETTER IF + Show Spoiler +
They did'nt divert the mission to go to Icarus when they got closer to the sun, turned into a bad slasher film when that happened.....
. overall though not bad sci-fli flick.
A Few Good Men: 8/10 - For a movie where the battles take place inside a courtroom, this was pretty engaging and kept my attention.
Ninja Scroll: 4/10 - I heard soooo much hype about this so I was pretty disappointed. Story thats nothing special, characters that are like cardboard, fight scenes are lame, and apparently in the Ninja Scroll world, a human body has enough blood to create an ocean out off because it was fucking everywhere.
One of the best movies I've seen in a pretty long while. The characters in the movie feel so alive and every actor did an outstanding job. A lot of underlying plots that lie somewhat submerged in the background all tie together in the end. The movie really feels complete, after you've watched it it really leaves a mark in your mind, not something you rent and forget an hour afterwards.
It really brings out all the emotions and does it really well, never does it feel generic and the chemistry between the two main actors tie it together into a classic movie.
I'm giving it a 10/10 since it feels like such a complete movie which I will remember for a long time.
Great recommendation, I can only agree 100%
this movie was AMAZING. Definitely not what I expected.. 10/10
Star Trek9/10, never seen any ST before, I had a great time. Machine Girl7.5/10, B-movie through and through, dragged on in some parts but delivered when it was supposed to
The Deer Hunter changed my life when i saw it holy shit. A really intense and thought provoking movie. As long as you haven't seen it you're missing out. Recently i saw Wolverine which i thought was really unimaginative but i guess it was what it was supposed to be.
