8.2/10 imo. Very good aesthetics, story and overall feeling.

In Bruges. I didn't what to expect from this movie, and then good surprise. Pretty funny, interesting atmosphere and the actors perform well .

Cloud Atlas was rather mediocre imho (read: bad), the others were all good in that they delivered what they promised.

EDIT:
Just saw "Meet Joe Black" again after not having seen it for years. This movie kept is despite its theme quite a sweet movie with a very decent message - I'll even admit to getting teary eyes at the end.

Can't believe you like Meet Joe Black and think Cloud Atlas is bad. Meet Joe Black is fucking 178 min long and tells a story which could've easily fit into a 90 minutes random romantic movie.

Well I guess people have different tastes..

Edit: Movie I recently watched: Premium Rush - thought it was kind of an interesting concept for a small action flick. Turned out horrible 3.5 of 10.

Bourne Legacy

8/10

Jeremy Renner does his role quite well considering its his first bourne movie, loved him ever since the Avengers as Hawkeye. Typical action/covert spy being hunt by the government who created him type movie, if you're into this kind of movie I'd recommend it

I finally saw Oldboy. It was worth the hype I've been hearing/reading. Also, its a good thing I didn't know the story before watching it.

Now if I can just find The Chaser.

Just saw Man on Fire. Really really good. If you enjoyed Taken, you'll most likely enjoy this as well.

Man on Fire, fantastic movie.

Resident Evil: Retribution
God awful movie. It's a damn shame too because the first was actually kind of good. Oh well, at least the animated versions are still tolerable.

Bourne Legacy
Your typical Bourne type movie. Spy gets burned, attempt on spy's life fails, they chase down spy, spy becomes Altair, kills a lot of people, and escapes. Not much of a story, just adding a new character to the Bourne line and piggybacking off of that...Been a fan of Renner since he played Gamble in SWAT though so I enjoyed it.

saw Brothers yesterday, with toby mcguire and jake Gyllenhaal.

Was actually a good movie tbh. The acting was good, and natalie portman as eyecandy is always good.

Surprisingly I found the remake of Total Recall not bad at all. Actors performance was meh, but the atmosphere was interesting, as well as the other differences from the 1990 movie. And of course, the 3-breasted prostitute was there !

The final fight scene in this is just incredible. Probably the best fight scene I've ever seen.

Two days ago, I watched The Impostor

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1966604/.
"A documentary centered on a young Frenchman who convinces a grieving Texas family that he is their 16-year-old son who went missing for 3 years."

This does not sound very thrilling but I can assure you that the story and the movie are terrific. And based on a true on that is. Go watch it

edit: It kinda blew my mind that The Chaser is based on a true story too. + Show Spoiler +
Few years ago Korean society was shocked by a horrible serial killer mayhem. Dozen of call-girls are disappeared and never returned when they visited unknown customer. The serial killer also murdered innocent old men and women on his loose. After caught of serial killer the revealed fact was beyond one's imagination. He killed girls with hammer, chisel and amputated the victims. Some of them were cannibalized. He mashed victim's liver with food processors and drank it. Now the serial killer is sentenced to death and his existence throw serious questions about execution of death sentenced prisoner to the Korean society. For ten years Korean government never executed prisoners and now UN approved Korea as a No Execution country. Source: Imdb

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a film and I'm sure you can help me, if I didn't dream / imagine seeing it.

It's about 4 large boobed, skinny barely legal girls who live in an insane-asylum / brothel.
They sort of daydream and have cool adventures in their dreams, killing Nazis, fighting a dragon, stealing something from a samurai, fighting cyborgs in a futuristic train and so on.

Is that a real movie or just an awesome dream?

Lawless 7.2/10
Expected a bit more from such a star studded cast. Shia was unexpectedly less annoying than he usually is so good for him. Tom Hardy still being himself. Guy Pierce and Gary Oldman are the ones who save this movie from falling into B movie category. The story doesn't have much cohesion and the fight scenes are bland.

A Separation 7.8/10
Having heard so much about this movie I was scared it would fall into the trap of being overhyped and then disappointment, which is exactly what happened. Maybe I have to go back and watch it again, maybe I have seen too many local Chinese movies already with the same themes of family, economic, social, religious conflicts that I don't find it fresh anymore. Not bad but not the groundbreaking movie it's been said to be.

Constantine 8.3/10
Surprisingly good. Keanu still plays a wooden dummy but luckily seems to work with his cynical character. Rachel Weisz helps him out a lot. Shia is annoying as fuck again. Story was interesting enough with just the right amount of religious material to not make it feel preachy. Peter Stormare plays a monstrous Lucifer.

Bourne Legacy 6.8/10
This movie felt so forced not even Edward Norton could save it. I do realize the story is basically "yo check out all this other shit we were doing apart from Treadstone we are CIA and we are so god damn cool" but it just felt like they were pulling shit out of their asses for no reason. Story was bad, characters were predictable, fight scenes were not "Bourne" enough to make it feel like a part of the Bourne franchise.

Looper 8.4/10
Better than expected. JGL does a very good job of playing a young Bruce Willis, while Bruce Willis just plays himself. Story was not bad, atmosphere was good and environment was believable.
Yea that looks just like Kang Min... amazing game sense... and uses mind games well, but has the micro of a washed up progamer.
