I just don't get it. I really hope that HBO doesn't mess up this series by showing more and more softcore porn. I agree, i have no idea about the books but this shit is going way overboard. Once every few eps is fine, but its basically expected every single episode and just takes me out of the moment.

Now sure, back when he killed the Reigns he was the Hand of the King in a peaceful kingdom and now we are fighting a two front war and your kingdom is the only one with money and manpower and food but you better watch out or my dad will do something drastic even though you are about to marry my son and you clearly have him under your control and clearly once my dad dies joff is going to go mad king on us completely" Cersei said she'd have her strangled in her sleep, she never mentioned her father at all. Her entire conversation can be summed up as "I'm better than you, we've always been better than you or anyone else for that matter, and if you say we're equal again (AKA sisters), I'll have you killed, like what happened to the last people who thought they were our equals/betters". Lannisters are first, they're second, and they can either die or accept it (according to Cersei). Dany being naked in a bath took you out of the scene? A whore wearing skimpy clothing took you out of the scene? Melisandre getting naked, specifically to lower Gendry's guard (like she said she planned to do earlier in the same damn episode), took you out of the scene? Honestly, you're just complaining for the sake of complaining right now.

I thought the Cersei's threat was lame and it annoyed me that Margaery seemed frightened by it when she has previously shown that she is smart and cunning enough to realize this is an idle threat. And ya the nudity is getting pretty out of hand. I can understand the Daenerys scene since it shows things about her personality and progression as a character. But I still do not understand why Melisandre had to have some completely unnecessary sex with Gendry before putting leeches on him. Seriously... you'd think they would have 10 unsullied to spare to surround her tent so random people can't just walk in.

One thing I didn't like though was how easily the whitewalker was beaten. I'm guessing it only has to do with that special dagger, though. I still don't understand the meaning of the crows....and I feel like the season is slogging and the whole book should've been crammed into a season D:...maybe not. I have a feeling they just split it because they know that George Martin can't pump out that many books (lol like every 6 yrs or something), so they're trying to slow it down a bit so they can have a constant production pipeline going.

I wouldn't give the Unsullied too hard a time. Most important than having 2000 men, Dany now has heavy cavalry. Added to her spearmen, dragons, and the light cavalry she's probably planning on acquiring from the Dothraki, she's looking at a very well balanced force. Smaller than the other Westerosi armies, but better trained and more cohesive. And remember that a smaller army is not always a disadvantage, particularly with the supply-line problems that plagued middle-age armies. An elite 10,000 man force might stand a good chance against 60,000 Lannisters who have to choose between staying near supply hubs or splitting into smaller hosts. Never mind the issues of discipline and morale. Methinks men are braver when dragons fight with them, rather than against them.

I understand that I just thought it went a little overboard is all lol. And they didn't kill him because the Onion Knight convinced Stannis to get proof that it would work before sacrificing Gendry. Sacrificing Gendry must get you something pretty bad ass if just his blood can kill off your major rivals. On May 20 2013 16:08 SergioCQH wrote: Wow, didn't realize SC2 nerds can be such prudes. Complaining about boobies? What next? I don't think anyone is complaining about seeing Emilia Clarke naked. I just prefer if the nudity scenes actually helped develop the characters, which I think was the case in the Daenerys scene.

On the topic of Theon being tortured; initially when he betrayed the Starks I was going to say he has everything that's coming to him, but I must say I think he's had enough now lol. Curious to see what ends up happening to him.
