Ya he was a real dick this episode. Can someone please remind me of the three names Stannis said as he casted the leeches onto the fire?

Wouldn't you rather live in one of those Eastern Continents where dudes get to chill with hot slave girls and talk with other long haired dudes who are hilarious? Stannis's story is boring but I like all of the characters. I need to reiterate that Sophie Turner is amazingly tall.

Hes in the wilderness with zombies on the prowl. He lost his sword. That dagger was his only means of defending himself. BTW, were those crows good or bad? Did the alert the WW to the presence of Sam or warn Sam of the WW. I can only assume they were trying to warn him because that tree, and the dagger, are both tied to the first inhabitants who probably had to deal with the WW long before.

You are completely oblivious if you think you would have your wits about you in a situation like that - even before taking into account Sam's disposition towards cowardliness. It's so easy to criticize characters as a viewer with a God's-eye-viewpoint. Everyone's a critic...

I liked the touch that it was the same word giving Dany trouble as when her handmaidens were first teaching her Dothraki.

Doesn't seem like it's a very common dagger for just anyone to have.

He has his uses and his special traits though. He is good with animals, like with Ghost and with the ravens. Maybe the incident with the White-walker will 'man' him in the conventional sense, since this is probably his first 'kill'.
