Varys is an interesting character. He claims to "serve the realm" , not being affliated to any house. He served back when the Mad King Aerys was in charge, and now the Lannisters. Would he betray the Lannisters for Daenerys if she arrives? What does "serving the interests of the realm" even mean? He sure is an unpredictable kent.

It's not revealed on the show yet. See the latest episode, where he says to Tyrion that he will tell him some day.

In S1 Tyrion mentions that castration is one possible punishment for rapers (the other being The Wall). As for Varys, we don't know what happened to him particularly.

It could be just that. When you think about it, the fight between families is little more than a game played by a handful of players. What about the people, what about the wealth of Westeros? If Varys is sincere in his claims, maybe he simply wants to keep the kingdoms running (wasn't he planning on killing Daenerys, and then plotting to open the gates to the Dothraki invasion just to avoid wars and unrest with no regards towards the current rulers?)

but without a penis, how would you piss or even not die of infection? Removal of the sac can be stitched, but the penis has a peehole. how the hell would you survive that without dieing of bleeding or infection? How would that heal.
