What in westeros is going to stand up to dragons? Dragonborn. FUS RO DAH Sorry couldn't resist haha And we'd bring in laser swords by season 4, and be going where no one has gone before by season 6.
And have a green/blue/red video game spinoff.
Can't wait.

Did they ever explain why Dragons would obey Danerys? There is a reason why the largest predators humans have domesticated were dogs...
We've tamed larger animals just fine. It's just dogs are smart and really useful, so we had more reasons to domesticate them.
It's not that we couldn't get larger animals, just there was no point. Do you think a bear is smart enough to be taught (relatively easily) to fetch something, or to herd animals?
The dragons obey her because she has dragon blood in her, or something along those lines from what I can tell.

It's pretty obvious that dragons obey Danerys since she's the one that brought them out into the world, esentially acting as a "mother" to them.

They obey her because Dany was there when they hatched, so they see her as their mother. I thought was to be taken for granted.

Well. The dragons are just whelps at this point. We are yet to see if they will actually obey her once they grow up. I can totally see one of them biting her head off instead.

Bears are pretty smart, but also dangerous. You can tame them, same with lions to some degree, but you can't truly domesticate them. They will still be really dangerous and difficult to handle. This does not have so much to do with the intelligence of the animal as with how they communicate with other animals and how their social structure is. It also depends on its agressiveness and other factors.

I don't think it's gonna be that simple. So far in the series we've seen that fighting over power is more important than anything else for most guys, except for the Wall people.

The dragons could very well behave like most birds would. They accept everyone as the mother if you are not too big or too small right after they hatched. I certainly think that kingdoms would only unit against the white walker if they already killed a lot of people and destroyed most of the north. And even than I'm not too sure all would get onboard.

Lol, just watched episode 2 and Tyrion is such a boss lol.

I think the wall is crucial if it falls the whole of Westeros falls the white walkers have to be stopped before they pass it. I mean look at how much time they spend on just the wall itself and how big and amazing it is. It gets mroe screen time than most characters so it has to mean something right?

They should make a series only about him and his companion, would be awsome seeing them going around the world owning shit up.

The adventures of Tyrion the Imp, with Bronn son of You-Wouldn't-Know-Him, Shagga-Likes-Axes and Shae the Funny Whore.

How did you know the white walkers would come back?! Maybe because they were in the prologue to Episode 1 of Season 1?
Be careful what you say about what is obvious and what isn't...remember this is GRRM we're talking about here.

Great show, but I feel the lack of a big name and strong character in season 2.
I really miss Eddard Stark as this was a great character.
Hopefully the girl with the dragoons gets more screen time and is put as the lead character.

Only if she upgrades range.

No such thing as a lead character in this show.

Lack of such character in season 2 is really weakening the show!
