I haven't read the books but my logic is that if the books are 10x times better, I should watch the show first and then read the books so I don't ruin the show for myself. P Plus I wouldn't have anything to do on Sunday nights!Backwards logic

FD;jlasdfjaljdf;ladfjasdfupoufi! So awesome! I hope the wolves are shown more this season, they're so fucking cool. I mean, do show-watchers even know the wolves names? I'm pretty sure all of them (except maybe Bran's) have been named by now. Also, that dragon was cool. And everything else. It was all cool. God this show is awesome. lol greywind is fking awesome! i hope to god they show him tearing out people's throats this time. they keep skipping the battle scenes. oh and that dragon was sweeeeet. imo this is a good start. lovely start. they cant have everything from the book but they sure as hell do what they can with the time they have. i just love the acting, especially tyrion. this season is gonna be great, get ready folks for gut wrenching drama. question (am I allowed to ask questions?): + Show Spoiler + In the part where Tyrion and his whore is in the Tower of the Hand, does she actually say that she likes the smell of cum? That is what I heard but I am sure I heard it wrong.

The first episode is awesome. You know a series is good when your gf was super excited for it to air and she doesn't even like these kinds of shows.

Shae: And cum and garlic and rum. she's a whore after all, what do you expect? :D

When they produce the show they can plan out the whole thing without the fear of cancellation, plus they are rarely more than 12 episodes so they don't have to stretch things to fit 20-24 episode quota of network television. Network prime time television is a cruel market for tv shows, if they don't reach ridicules viewers quota, something in the lines of 8+millions, they get canceled even after first few episodes, and they compete with other tv channels. If you don't watch CBS then they lose viewers to FOX for example and they lose money, cable tv networks don't care as much if you watch something as long as you pay monthly. It's very simple, you won't stop paying for HBO because they produce something you don't watch, unless it's incredibly offending to you, where as network television need you to stick for a commercials because that's what they live from.

But everyone is so up in arms about MLG PPV Arenas... Glad you guys got caught up, I got to catch the premier in Atlanta on Wednsday and I've been too excited to talk to anyone I could about it but all my friends covered their ears and left the room. Dicks... Tyrion is by far my favorite character because Peter Dinklage is an absolute boss, but I was really surprised as to the depth (for lack of a better word) that Robin Arryn had. Didn't see that coming at all.
