Awesome first episode, hope there will be more fights than in the first season though

Ask that in the other thread.

just watching one episode brings so much memories back from the books, especially hate towards the Lannisters
edit just found that, i laughed so hard

Littlefinger:"We have enough wheat for a five year Winter... If it lasts any longer we'd have fewer peasants."
Fkin badass who does not even consider the possibility that he will have to suffer AT ALL if Winter comes. Second best character in both the book and the TV series.
Tyrion's the best of course.

I think that's a question, which could be asked here. It already happened in the TV series.

Yes it does happen in the books as well, much to Tyrion's dismay.

Got a huge smile when i saw Tyrion. Great Character.
Sadly i cannot enjoy a film/series based on a book i already red. In the book everything is just so much better/detailed/etc.
So read the book after you watched the film/series.

That kid landed the acting job of a life time.

Am I losing my mind? Wasn't there a scene where he was sitting there with an older dude, and the townspeople were talking to them about meaningless stuff, and then they had a little conversation about the war?
I'm not crazy right?

That was Brandon Stark, the now ruler of Winterfell when Robb is away fighting wars against the Lannisters.

So read the book after you watched the film/series. I actually find myself enjoying the series more than the book. I think I disagreed with the author's writing style a little too much. If you haven't given at least a couple episodes a good run, I recommend it before turning it aside.

Decent episode, especially Rob's and Tyrion's parts. I have to admit that i would enjoy 2nd season so much more if i haven't read the books earlier after first one. You know what's going to happen now and you spot every little part they skipped. /hides for 7 days until next ep.

Anyone else notice some kinda tension between Dany and the horse guy (Rakharo?)

I was sceptic, but they really hold the high level. Really becoming an HBO fanboy. Fantastic tv shows and awesome documentaries.
A new thread or people putting stuff in spoilers would be appreciated though. I came here looking for links (stupid i know) and read too much...
+ Show Spoiler +My favorite scene was the Rob - Jamie one. "With the difference, i don't need a servant to do the headcutting for me!" lmao, goosebump alarm! The dire wolf made me think of my deceased dog though. I haven't read the books yet, but the time Geoffrey will get killed, which i hope happens at some point, i'll be like FUCK YEAH! He's so hateble. Well crafted show!

Just watched the first episode. It was fantastic but not that exciting if you have read the book. The light lady that serve lord Stannis doesn't look like what I imagine her though(forgot her name ). And Arya looks awesome at that last scene. They skip alot of details in this season though. This would much faster pace than what it is in the book.
