It's pretty awesome how theyre going all over the world for this. I imagine they wont need too much CGI when they're in iceland. . . it should already look the part =D

I know they have budgetary constraints but hopefully they show more battle scenes in the next season.

Let's Martinize some other show/movies... Star war: The clone war -> A war of clones 1. Wc3: The frozen throne -> A frost for thrones 2. The king's speech -> A speech of king 3.Swordfish -> A fish of sword 4. ??? 5.Dances with Wolves -> A dance with wolves Hmm that came out boring after all but sharing anyway, it's Saturday morning

Also, I hope this isn't too controversial, but I'm really glad they didn't cast american accents. I don't mind the accent at all, but in these kind of medieval settings I find them really off-putting. I'd like to hear maybe what some US people think on that too.

The series was really good, everyone was really well cast as well I thought (apart from Robert Baratheon who and his brother should should have both been a foot taller, but apart from that were perfect). I'm really glad they cast a lot of character older as well, would have been too graphic otherwise. Also, I hope this isn't too controversial, but I'm really glad they didn't cast american accents. I completely agree with you about the accent thing. I know it's a fantasy world, but when I think medieval, I think Old(ish) English.

Yeau gotta have the british accents for a medieval show...by now its what were used to. Anerican would just sound weird.

This is sort of funny though, since american is closer to medieval english than british. So it ought to be the other way around.

That's old news. Storm of Swords had more action in it than any other of his five books. Hardly surprising.
