They dont need a singular theme. They could have a disconnected series with each episode being a diiferent event (tourney at harrenhal, aegon's conquest etc)

we see evidence that the whitewalkerse are capable of making deals with the living, like the dude in the cabin that kept sleeping with his daughters. i wonder if thats how Littlefinger will stay relevant in this season? make some stupid deal with the whitewalkers while John is gone and Sansa is in charge. its so bad.

Tyrell largest armies? 100k men? Where is it?

Also Lannister army was borrowed and they are broke plus wasn't funded by the Iron bank for a while so we have to assume they couldn't just secure a 10k+ army of mercaniries.

Yeh, this event makes zero sense. Just like any war/battle scene created D & D. At least it made more sense than the Battle of the North.

I'm going to ignore the fact that Euron can teleport because so can Grey Worm... however, putting all logic aside, Dany is so retarded that instead of attacking King's Landing and winning the war she lost both Dorne and the Reach.

for the Greyjoy fleet attack the unsullied, we can assume that it's just a part of Euron's fleet. (we'll know in the upcoming episodes) , or if ever that is his main fleet, we can assume that weeks or a month has already passed since they were in KL. The phase is much more faster now since its more on action than story /plot twist. Still enjoyed the episode, I just wished I saw some Tyrell vs Lannister action even just for 2 minutes.

Like this episode the best of the first three, the plot moved very well without to much hole, the Cercey scene were great and the dragonstone one too. The reunion between Bran and Sansa was just weird tho, Bran wasn't nearly has antisocial the last time we saw him, likewise with the last 3 eyed raven.

As for the "battle" scene I quite enjoyed them really, the fact that they didn't drag out the fighting and just got to the important point was good.
I personally just assumed that Euron wasn't on the Iron fleet witch would make it possible for it to catch Dany fleet at the Rock, if they gained a bit on them on the way there. Euron went back to Kings Landing while the rest of the fleet continue on it's way south after crushing the first half of the fleet. They still arrived at the perfect timing but hey that's fiction for you.
But they do need to told us how much time as pass more clearly because now it's super confusing.

As for the Tyrel I tough their army were suppose to be in the first half of the fleet, but either way I don't know why they decided to give only 10 000 men to the Lannister, I mean lets say they let 1000-2000 at the Rock it's just a couple thousand to storm a castle and defeat the Tyrel, seems like they could have dodge that one quite easily. But all and all the strategy by the Lannister was quite cleaver and it was a nice move to tight up some story point (Tyrel,Sands Snake, Iron bank, well maybe not that last one yet seeing the preview) and the even the force for the next episode.

Euron can teleport, Dany needs 1 season to cross the narrow sea, Gendry still rowing after 500 years. Poor guy
