And most people tend to be somewhat in awe when they see someone walking out of a literal inferno unharmed. No different then why Dany came out of Drogo's funeral pyre and everyone fell to their knees. A classic case of the audience having information about the impressive thing the character can do and wondering everyone else in the fantasy world is impressed by it. Anything then suddenly turning into babies and why did all of the dorthraki worshipped Dany like sheep. How do you fight fire? Would strangling Dany suddenly stop all the flames? They did the logical thing: they ran for their lives. And all the dothraki worshiping Dany? How would you react if a single woman just single-handedly killed all your powerful leaders and stepped out of a burning building unharmed? And keep in mind the dothraki are very much about worshipping and following power unlike the free folk for instance.

On second thought, I do wonder why that didn't make them freak out when Dany did her funeral pyre in S01. It was certainly blood magic of some sort.

That somehow seems to be what they're building him too, but Kwark is right his arc "should" be done. It was resolved, it had closure, but I guess to be realistic he has to do something now - short of suicide - and so it continues.

If he is able to rebuild himself into something again and become something new then that could be a decent conclusion to his arc as well. He was broken beyond belief but that does not mean he must remain broken and it would be rather fitting for the Ironborn who was raised away from the Iron Islands to be the one who demonstrates the strongest will and ability to rebuild themselves.

Well I loved his speech, he had some really good points you can relate to, not just some religious down your throat kind of bullshit.
