This season really has been the great character purge. I think this week losing only 1 is the least amount of dead named characters this season.

The only thing that bothers me about Rickon at this point is that they just randomly killed off Shaggydog to prove a point. Dire Wolves are supposed to be a big deal, just casually killing one is so dumb that it almost makes me think it's a ruse.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like they are bouncing between stories so much that everything feels either like tiny unimportant steps, or unnecessary undeveloped leaps and bounds. In past seasons did they not focus on 1/2 story lines more? I feel like Aria's whole story could be 1 whole episode or half of 2 episodes and I'd be more into it, as opposed to strangely not caring. Rikkon is... undeveloped and confusing (maybe it's supposed to be?). At least the Starks are keeping me in it.
I used to get to know the characters before they died, I miss that.

we've had 6 seasons of "getting to know the characters", there aren't many new characters that gets brought in and quickly killed. everyone that's died so far this season has been introduced in prior seasons

That last scene made me laugh a little bit. This is alternate ending fodder. Dany does her sick powerplay with fire and dies of a massive wood beam to the head.

We have now reached the point where there are too many characters being juggled, and some will fall.

Targaeryn Passive: Fire Immunity
|
Lannister Passive: +10 Gold Find. Tyrell Passive: +10 Sass. Stark Passive: -10 Luck. Plot armor +20.

Ned, Rob and Cat definitely benefited from the plot armor

Had goosebumps for the last 2 minutes of the ep. Really enjoyed overall Sansa finally reuniting with Jon. Tyrells and lannisters getting ready to make moves. The vale and the wall are gonna make a sandwich at winterfell.
Poor wilding girl getting dropped by Ramsay, I'm hoping Ghost rips his throat out. Although I'll settle for him dieing to Jon/Brienne I suppose.
Not sure how I feel about Tyrions move...

Didnt Emilia Clarke have a clause in her GoT contract for no more nude scenes after season 3? What happened lol
|
Okay! Great episode for me! This episode cleared up Stannis death ok, confirmed dead (unless Brienne is lying, which is unlikely, and Stannis got no roles more roles anyway). LF is always ready for anything damn, also Sansa gets more attractive when she shows emotions <3.
Just some questions and thoughts When Jaime said Tyrell has the 2nd largest army in Westeros, then which is the largest?. Regarding the north story, my guess is the Iron Islands will try to get revenge to the Boltons and having the same enemy I think they will join forces with Jon. , + Knights of the Vale will attack too at the same time.
and one more thing, they messed up with the continuity from E3. Jon Snow dropped the mic and left of E3 ending, and now he goes back into the castle bec its cold.

I'm really disappointed how they did osha in. Like Ramsay is already most hated he doesn't need more kill count. He's a bad ruler. Anyone insane enough to kill his dad and then kill off Walter freys daughter and grandson can not possibly inspire respect from his subjects. No way no how. Yet he has had non stop plot armor. I get he's gonna be set up as final boss for this season but it's lame.
Stop killing off characters for the sake of killing them it has lost all shock value. Bad enough that they ruined dorne. Ending scene where Dany goes super saiyan God mode on those scrubs made up for it though. Badass Mary sue.
Also does anyone think sparrow is setting them up? He leaked info to tomen knowing that the boy is soft. He knows they're gonna plan something and has probably made preparations....
