We know that Myrcella and Tristane are in love and dornishmen don't show much restraint in those matters. So, delivering poison by a kiss when both of those are about to embark on a journey together is the nicest idea ever. Goes well in line with poisoning weapons when about to steal Myrcella from the gardens.

What they should have done is go to KL, accidentally make Tommen deaded and then BAM! Trystane of the House Martell, the First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm Myrcella is the only road to Martell influence in the capitol and they just murdered her. Brilliant. Taking a 50/50 on also killing the only (as far as we know) Martell heir is just icing on top.

Well, as far as the show goes the plan of the bad poosays is not to rule the seven kingdoms, but to provoke a war with the Lannisters to avenge their dad/lover. Not defending anything Dorne though, the whole segment was just 15 levels below the rest of the show in every aspect. Possible exception Doran, good actor for that role, but the rest was really a terrible low point in the show.

Daenerys' ending seemed to be setting up more filler. Cersei stuff was boring and long. I'm sure most saw Myrcella's death coming a mile away. And Jon's not really dead (maybe Melisandre works her magic) or his death was very poorly done. Some things in earlier episodes hint that they were (are?) setting Jon up for more so this makes little sense imo.

A war which would be much easier to win if you have a claim to the throne and thus the power that goes with such a claim and are not seemingly trying to usurp the crown with a weak claim to power. The rest of the plan was obviously stupid for a myriad of reasons not least of all that there is zero reason that the source of such a poison is not instantly understood and then they turn the boat around execute all involved and if its as slow moving as they say it is maybe get the antidote in time and avoid any trauma whatsoever though the heads of those responsible would also probably prevent a war.

But even I would agree that the Sands Snakes storyline 'gimmicks' are sub-optimal if not below-par. You just want bad pussy (lol that line from the finale was pretty hilarious).

They let so many better characters die, why would they bring back John... then again maybe I know nothing There is no real reason to have The Lady Melisandre teleport a 18 day travel in a few hours if they didn't want her to be at castle black to do something like this - Having Jon die and come back alive means he can participate in politics in Essos / Westeros more easily and actually get involved in the story since he isn't bound by his vow to the black.

The assassination was obviously not sanctioned by Doran Martell, a reasonable and peaceful man. It was purely Ellaria's doing. She's a very one dimensional character who doesn't think. She's blind with rage and the only thing on her mind is killing Lannisters. We have seen before that Doran cannot keep her under control, but this will have been her last transgression.

![]() Also this means if that dorne isnt going to war but has to accept war right? even tho the lanistes have tristan jamie knows its not his fault would he really deliver him to cersi to be killed? Again like people said that lady of obyerns sooo dumb, obyern said "we dont hurt little girls in dorne" how did the sandsnakes also agree to this??? shouldnt they be the ones most understanding that obyern lost in a duel??? and that obyerns little revenge whenever he loses duel has already happen the posion of the mountain which kills him (at least to their knowledge, the justice for obyern should have been served imo) even tho i love obyern as a character ![]()
