You exclude yourself from the weekly discussion after a new episode airs. I'm sry but that was your decision, now you have to deal with it. People here want to avoid spoilers by all means. It's just unavoidable for someone to click a post of yours and spoil the season. If that happens will you blame that person for reading your spoiled post by accident? No, it will be your fault. As I said, a new thread can work for you guys. | ||

I suppose a thread would work, just didn't want GoT to take up even more space in the sidebar, since as it is now, it takes up 2 out of 5 spots in Media and Entertainment. And to be fair, if someone is so paranoid about being exposed to a spoiler, they really shouldn't be reading this thread. How many times have people posted a spoiler here, and someone read it before it was able to be deleted? Anyway, I think having to click one or two spoiler tabs, and then actually reading the paragraph isn't something that someone who is trying to not see spoilers would be afraid of. | ||

Even though many others have watched all the episodes as well. because you start the same slippery slope problem that resulted in the blanket ban of even mentioning the books. a lot of people in the thread had a hard time behaving themselves so we can't have nice things. like steveling said, perhaps not everyone is capable of watching the episodes, and it's not their fault you binged half a season. self control is clearly an issue for the thread at large. the average user shouldn't be punished for it. you can't use the argument that 'you exclude people from discussing it for half a season' and seconds later argue 'it's only three episodes we're talking about.' | ||

I think what has been emphasized very much, is that the books and show are two completely different beasts this season. So the thread is no longer applicable. And I do not wish to be spoilered about these things (because they don't use spoiler tags there for obvious reasons). Again, anyone can access these episodes, HBO has done virtually nothing to stop people from watching them. You can literally use any search engine, search any combination of words that have "game of thrones season 5 free", etc... And find them swiftly and effortlessly. But anyway, wont keep arguing, I can see why you want to hold you position, I was simply trying to find a compromise that would work for everyone. And my poll is based on 13 results at time of post, so use that with a grain of salt. | ||

I don't remember the thread having problems about it. And unlike anime discussion thread where there's thousands of anime to talk about that some have seen(not even considering the varying amount of episodes that has been seen) and some haven't here we just talk about 1 just 1. but sure to the new thread then! | ||
