One question tho. Why would "littlefinger" tell Sansa that story about the hound and his brother? What is his intention there? Edit: Oh, I just read that he didn't tell the story in the books. So how does it happen in the books?

So how does it happen in the books? the hound tells the story to Sansa but I wont tell you why because that would spoil the story ![]() in the series they let Littlefinger tell it to deepen his creepy image

I expect Daenerys' hair will be singed to short hair, but not bald

+ Show Spoiler + 1. The explanation for giving the story to Littlefinger makes perfect sense. The Hound is practically an unknown at this point IN THE SHOW, so it would make very little sense for him to deliver a dramatic scarring childhood tale. Viewers new to the series would be put off. 2. Littlefinger has the hots for Sansa. Almost everything about his character goes back to his upbringing as a nobody "lord" in love with a high-born lady. Now he's at the point where Cat is out of reach...but that daughter of hers is looking pretty tasty. And whats the best way to win a young girl's affections? Scare the shit out of her and be a general ass. Just look at Joffrey. Hence, he tells her the Hound's story. 3. I expect the first season will end as the first book does - Dany walking out of the fire unburnt, with little more than stubble on her head. Her purification and rebirth by fire are very symbolic, as is her hair slowly returning as she learns to lead and be a true queen.

+ Show Spoiler [AFFC spoiler] + The most plausible interpretations of AFFC point to Sandor being alive, and living as a monk. The brother at the monastary that Brienne visits hints that "The Hound" - the terrifying warrior with the dog's head helmet is "dead," and that Sandor Clegane is "At peace."

Be careful with these spoilers, the official notification from the mod at the top of the screen says to limit spoilers to book 1 only. At least label what book they are from please. Looking forward to next week. The majority of critics who liked the show said that episodes 5 and 6 were the best of the 6 screeners that got before the season started. There was also an announcement today that www.hbogo.com will have an online screening of episode 7 right after episode six airs on TV.
