I remember a scene in The Kingdom of Heaven, when an attempt to kill Balian of Ibelin, one of the mounted knight is using a flail.

Arya Bolton confirmed. In all seriousness though, that really was so unfitting for a Stark. There we have Jon Snow, who is immediately more or less trusted by Stannis, just because he is Ned's son and the Starks have a reputation for being the "good" guys, and then we have Arya who doesn't want to finish a dying man off and rather make him suffer more. That even goes against Valar Morghulis, its not all men must suffer, its all men must fucking die. Jaqen didn't return to Arya and said "yea hes slowly rotting away, he will be dead by tomorrow or so", no, he fucking killed whoever she wanted dead immediately. I really hated that. /rant

I think Arya was always gonna go down this path though. Ned is the honorable one but Arya has always given me the feel of someone who feels the ends justify the means. She has learned through her time at King's Landing and with the Hound just how evil people can be. Arya doesn't give a fuck, she is about straight up "eye for an eye" justice. Therefore, she is completely ok with letting people suffer for their actions. In some ways she is similar to Stannis. Sansa...now she's kind of a wildcard now, don't know what to expect.

That's the point. She wanted to be strong and capable and cool like her Father and Syrio, and now she's a psychopath who takes joy in killing people and causing suffering: the exact reason why she started hating people and making her list. She got what she wanted, just like Sansa got to be a fancy lady at court, and it was what neither of them expected and has changed them both (Sansa now becoming deceitful, in stark [hohoho] contrast to her disbelief that people could be dishonorable in S1). Their stories have a lot of similarity.

I hope to god it's fake and I didn't actually get spoiled because that's 100% bullshit if so. I can't even read my TL inbox messages anymore if that's fucking allowed. Like I barely try to read this thread sometimes because I'm so scared of spoilers, but now I can't even read a new message in my inbox if I randomly have one. Maybe I should get really shit faced and hope I forget them. So did the spoilers turn out to be true? What did he send you? ![]()
